A MOTHER’S DAY MESSAGE
To the Wonderful and Blessed Mothers of the World
& the Spiritual Mothers of The Mystical Order and the Spiritual Baptist Faith
Beloved and Honoured Mothers,
“Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.” — Proverbs 31:28 —
On this most sacred and beautiful occasion of Mother’s Day, I, Archbishop and Presiding Prelate Hon. Andres B. Quow of The Mystical Order Ministries International, arise with a heart full of gratitude, reverence, and deep love to honour each and every mother — the wonderful, blessed, and anointed women of God who carry His grace in their hands and His love in their hearts.
To the mothers of the world — in every nation, every tongue, every culture — you are the pillars upon which families are built, the fountains from which generations drink. God, in His infinite wisdom, fashioned within you a love that mirrors His own: selfless, sacrificial, patient, and enduring. From the earliest cry of a newborn to the quiet prayer whispered at night over your children, your faithfulness is a testimony to the goodness of the Most High.
To our beloved Spiritual Mothers of The Mystical Order and the Spiritual Baptist Faith, you are a chosen and consecrated company. The Lord has not only blessed you to bear and nurture the fruit of the womb, but He has also called you to be mothers in the Spirit, nurturing the souls of those within this sacred faith. Your prayers have held up the altars. Your counsel has steadied the wavering. Your tears have watered the seeds of revival. You are mothers, not only by birth, but by anointing.
We honour the mother who rises before the sun to pray for her household. We honour the Spiritual Mother who stands in the gap for her congregation. We honour the mother who sacrificed her dreams so her children could dream higher. We honour the one who mourns quietly, who loves fiercely, who endures graciously — trusting in the God who sees all things.
An Apostolic Blessing
May the God of Heaven bless you and continue to guide you to be better mothers, caring with wisdom and compassion for those entrusted in your care. May His peace rest upon your shoulders like a mantle, and may His joy renew your strength as you carry out the holy calling of motherhood. May your prayers be heard in the Highest Courts of Heaven, and may your legacy of love extend from generation to generation, world without end.
On this Mother’s Day, as we celebrate you, let us also commit ourselves to honouring you not just on one day, but in every season of life. Let the children of this Order arise and call their mothers blessed. Let every member of this faith walk in gratitude for the spiritual mothers who have poured into their lives without reservation.
You are seen. You are valued. You are deeply loved — by your families, by this Order, and above all, by the Almighty God who formed you and called you by name.
