A MESSAGE FOR MOTHER’S DAY
Honouring the Mothers of Our Homes, Our Churches, and Our Faith
“Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.” — Proverbs 31:28 (KJV)
To Every Mother, Blessed and Beloved,
On this sacred and joyful occasion of Mother’s Day, I rise with a heart full of gratitude and reverence to honour you — the mothers, the nurturers, the intercessors, the anchors of our homes and the pillars of our families. The work you do is not merely domestic; it is divine. Every meal prepared with love, every prayer whispered in the midnight hour, every tear wiped from a child’s face, every sacrifice made in silence — these are the offerings of faithful women whose worth, as Scripture declares, is “far above rubies” (Proverbs 31:10, KJV).
Motherhood is one of the highest callings upon the face of the earth. It is not a small thing to carry a life within you, to usher that life into the world, and then to spend your years pouring wisdom, faith, discipline, and unconditional love into that child day after day. The world may not always stop to applaud you. The busyness of life may sometimes cause your contributions to go unnoticed. But God sees you. Heaven records every act of selfless devotion. Your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
You are the first teacher your child has ever known. Before the schoolroom, there was your voice. Before the church pew, there was your knee. Before any pulpit, there was your prayer. The seeds of faith, character, and integrity that you plant in the hearts of your children will grow long after you are gone, bearing fruit in generations yet unborn. Do not ever underestimate the eternal weight of what you do daily within the four walls of your home.
“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” — Proverbs 22:6 (KJV)
To the Women and Mothers of The Mystical Order Ministries and the Spiritual Baptist Faith — you hold a most honoured place in the life of this great and sacred movement. Our tradition has always recognised that women are not peripheral to the Kingdom of God; they are central to it. From the shores of the Caribbean to the nations of this diaspora, it is the mothers of this Faith who have held the hymns, carried the prayers, kept the altars, and passed the torch of spiritual inheritance from one generation to the next. We salute you. We are indebted to you. We celebrate you.
To the mother who rises early to pray before her household wakes — we see you. To the mother who works long hours and still finds the strength to nurture and encourage — we see you. To the widowed mother who carries the family alone with courage and dignity — we see you. To the grandmother who has become mother again, raising her children’s children in the Lord — we see you. To the mother who grieves, who struggles, who sometimes wonders if she is enough — hear this word from Heaven: you are enough, for God is with you.

As Chief Apostle and Supreme Leader of this great ministry, it is my solemn privilege and profound joy to declare to each of you: your faithfulness has not gone unrecognised in the courts of Heaven. The Mystical Order stands today, in no small measure, because of the intercession of its mothers, the dedication of its women, and the holy fire that burns in the hearts of those who refuse to let the next generation perish for lack of spiritual nourishment.
I charge you, therefore, dear mothers: keep going. Keep praying. Keep loving. Keep the faith burning in your homes. Let the Word of God be the foundation upon which your household stands. Let your children see in you a living testimony of what it means to walk with God through every season — in joy and in sorrow, in abundance and in need, in strength and in weakness. For they are watching you, and what they see in you will shape who they become.
We honour you today not merely with words, but with hearts lifted in sincere thanksgiving to Almighty God for placing you among us. You are the crown of this ministry. You are the heartbeat of our families. You are a gift from God to this generation, and your reward is great in Heaven.
May the Grace of God Be With You Always
