His Eminence, the Anointed Metropolitan Archbishop and Presiding Prelate, the Honourable Andres B. Quow, OM, OHPM, was born in the State of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Rooted in the rich spiritual heritage of the Caribbean, he carries within him the faith, fortitude, and fervent devotion that have long distinguished the sons and daughters of the Spiritual Baptist tradition.
Archbishop Quow’s journey in the service of God and His people has been marked by an unwavering commitment to the advancement of the Kingdom of Christ, the nurturing of souls under his pastoral care, and the institutional strengthening of The Mystical Order Ministries International. Rising through the ranks of the Order with distinction and grace, he was elevated to the sacred office of Archbishop and Presiding Prelate, wherein he serves as the chief ecclesiastical officer for the New York jurisdiction of the Order — a global fellowship with membership spanning Trinidad and Tobago, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Barbados, England, St. Croix, and the United States.
In his capacity as Archbishop and Presiding Prelate, His Eminence Archbishop Quow serves under the supreme authority of His All Holiness, Patriarch and Chief Apostle Sir Darrindel Hoyte-Johnson, and in close collaboration with the Patriarch and Grand Commanding Officer, His Holiness Sir Godfrey Gregg, D.Div. Together, they shepherd a body of believers united in the pursuit of holiness, unity, and the unyielding purposes of Almighty God.
Among his most enduring contributions to the life and legacy of the Order is the founding of Generation Next Youth Group — a visionary ministry dedicated to the spiritual formation, development, and empowerment of the next generation of Spiritual Baptist believers. Recognizing that the future of the faith rests in the hearts and hands of the young, Archbishop Quow established this fellowship as a covenant space where youth are nurtured in the Word of God, grounded in the traditions of the faith, and equipped to carry the torch of the Spiritual Baptist witness into tomorrow. The Constitution and Bylaws of Generation Next Youth Group stand as a formal testament to his long-term investment in intergenerational legacy.
