Behold how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity. I will say of the Lord, He is our refuge and fortress — our God, in Him will we trust. Amen! All honour, glory, thanks and praises to Almighty God for spared lives and tender mercies. He woke us up this morning and for this cause let us worship Him in spirit and in truth. Almighty God, as we come before Your presence today, we confess our sins and ask You to be merciful, Please bless, protect and guide us throughout this day and forever in Jesus Almighty name. Amen! Thank you, Lord!
TO our Patriarch and Bishop of Starlight of Israel Healing School, my Archbishop, Crowned Queen Abbess, and all ministers, members, friends and families of The Mystical Order of Spiritual Baptist Inc 2012, I greet you in the awesome name of Jesus. Brothers and sisters, today I want to ask a question that most or all of us are acquainted with. “Have you ever been hurt by a friend”? Before I go any further, I want to define friend. Could be someone we confide in, a brother or sister at church or even an elder. A coworker (some of us spend more time at work than home). So in other words a friend could be what we call in spiritual language, a neighbour. Amen! So after having conversations with this friend; maybe weeks, months or years, something happens and this friend — who is supposed to be your partner in crime (excuse my phrase, too many words to use here), repeats some of the things you’ll talk about or the people you’ll have discussed. How does one face the world, or recover from such a destructive blow? A thing like this is worse than physical pain. Lord have mercy!
Beloved, although pain is viewed as negative, this kind of pain inflicted by a friend carries a much deeper and complex meaning. However, if the sufferer is rooted and grounded in the name of the Lord, you will grow in strength and courage, show greater compassion and will eventually experience the joy of God’s ultimate love. While Christ was being crucified, He said, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do”. Even David, although he was hunted by King Saul, showed mercy while Saul was asleep in the cave and cut a piece of his garment instead of killing Saul. Family in Christ, it’s very hard to cope and live with such pain when one has to see, work or co-exist with this friend. This is the time when the Christ in you takes over (Philippians 4 verse 13), one has to surrender all things to Jesus, He’s our Burden Bearer, our Comforter and Saviour. Hallelujah!
Pain is a gift nobody wants, but as a child of God, this very pain can do a lot for us, (draw us closer to God). We have the ability to transform pain into joy through faith. Start or assist in a program for your church, workplace or community, help the less privileged or drop an addiction. By doing this thing, the Holy Spirit in us takes over and people will marvel at the new you. It’s time for us to let go and let God take charge of our lives. Amen! With Almighty God in control, we will enjoy the fruits of the spirit as mentioned in Galatians 6 verses 22 & 23. Amen! Beloved once one is walking after the Holy Spirit and is being led by the Holy Spirit, [some of us say Lord God but we far from God], and pain or the busy adversary try to manifest themselves, one just has to call on their Jesus. “Father I stretch my hands to Thee, no other help I know; If Thou withdraws Thyself from me, ah, whither shall I go”. Praise the Lord!
In closing brethren, let not our labour go in vain, (2 Peter Chapter 1 verse 10). Shall we continue in sin {pain} that grace may abound, God forbid? Let experience be one of our watchwords. Heavenly Father, we thank You for another blessing today, we thank You for our Comforter — Christ Jesus, who soothes our troubles, heals our wounds and drives away all fears. Remember our elders in The Mystical Order, please direct them to stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made them free (joy), and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage, (pain). Master, have mercy on us, remove all pain so we can rejoice and worship You in the beauty of Holiness. O great Jehovah, please guide, guard and protect us, until we meet again in Jesus Almighty name. Amen!
Your humble servant,
His Eminence, Eric Alleyne. LOM. OHPA. OSM.
Cardinal of The Mystical Order.
Commanding Officer of The Mystical Court.
