WILL YOUR ANCHOR HOLD

alleyneSpirit divine attend our prayer, and make our heart Thy home; descend with all Thy gracious power, come Holy spirit come. All honour, glory, thanks and praises to Almighty God, for spared life and tender mercies. We’re together again praising the Lord, we’re together again in one accord; something good is going to happen, I can feel it in my soul, we’re together again, praising the Lord. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord! Thank you Jesus! Beloved His name is worthy to be praised, His name should always be held very high in consul. Master, we worship, love and adore You, please look with pity upon us and incline our hearts to do Your will, this day and forever. Thank you Jesus!

To our Patriarch, my Archbishop, Crowned Queen Abbess, all ministers, members, friends and families of The Mystical Order of Spiritual Baptist Inc 2012, I greet you in the wonderful name of Jesus. Beloved in times like these we need a Saviour, in times like these we need an anchor; be very sure, be very sure, your anchor holds and grips The Solid Rock. Brothers and sisters these words were written in the fearful days in the heights of world war 2, the hymn has been a comfort back then and throughout the ages. However, when I read the newspaper (some of the stories I tend hard to digest), look at the news on the television, or observe the life style some of us are living, my spirit is troubled and this makes me wonder. Beloved rest assured I’m mortal also, I make mistakes and sin daily, but some of us are allowing our ship to be tossed to and fro by every little breeze that blow. Psalm 1 gave us a good illustration about living a good christian life, it teaches us that, we shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth fruits in due season, and our leaves should not wither and whatsoever we do shall prosper in Jesus Almighty name. Amen!

Family in Christ, in 1 Corinthians chapter 3 verse 16, brother Paul speaking to the people of Corinth also to you and I, said, “know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the spirit of God dwelleth in you”? Our bodies are God’s temple, it’s a ship, we have to be careful of what kind of cargo we transport in our ship (the friends and associates we keep), the ship has to be maintained properly also (fed with the word of God) and one have to be very alert at the wheel (watch and pray). Since we made that decision to take up our cross and follow Christ, our ship had set sail; we may stop over at different ports to deliver, receive cargo, refuel and sometimes a crew member may have reached their port of destination. Be not dismay, for you’re the one at the wheel but Almighty God is in charge. Amen! Beloved from a personal point of view, I can only be at the wheel of my ship, so par adventure a storm arose, I’m supposed to know if my ship is capable to ride out that storm or my anchor is strong and the chain have the length, due to the depth of water I’m in, to grip that Solid Rock. Praise the Lord!

Brothers and sisters, life or one’s ship is about ups and downs, it’s about changes. Nothing stays the same forever, we as mortals have to learn to adjust and make changes ourselves to suit circumstances and situations. Where ever the spirit of God leads you, He will sustain you; only if we trust and obey. Every individual is different, every individual has their own calling, we’re all working for the same penny (I know some won’t agree with this) and for the same Master (I hope), so at the end of time; is only what we do for Jesus that matters. Amen!

Heavenly Father, we thank You for another blessing today, we thank You for the wisdom that we can disagree and agree only for Your glorification. Master we thank You for That Solid Rock, which holds our anchor, steady and sustain our ship during the storms. O great Adonai, please bless and anchor or elders through these stormy times, remember our families in The Mystical Order throughout the world. King of Zion we pray that one day, our eyes behold through the morning light, the city of gold and the harbour bright; may our anchor safe by the heavenly shore, when life’s storms are past forever more. All these and more blessing we ask for in Jesus Almighty name. Amen!
God loves you so do I.

Your humble servant,
His Eminence, Eric Alleyne. LOM. OHPA. OSM.
Cardinal of The Mystical Order.
Commanding Officer of The Mystical Court.
