Tribute to Queen Abbess Dr. Patricia Hackshaw
Beloved Brethren, distinguished members of the Mystical Order, friends, and well-wishers,
It is with profound joy and reverence that we gather to honour our Founding Abbess, Queen Abbess Dr. Patricia Hackshaw, the first of many who faithfully serve in this sacred vineyard. Today we celebrate not only her life and service, but also the divine calling she so wholeheartedly embraced as a servant of the Mystical Order.
From the very beginning, Queen Abbess Patricia has embodied vision, courage, and unwavering devotion. She became a pioneer, answering God’s call and setting forth a standard of excellence, humility, and love that continues to inspire generations. Like Deborah in the Scriptures, she arose as a mother in Zion, bringing wisdom, guidance, and spiritual strength to those entrusted to her care.
Her tireless labour and dedication have created a firm foundation upon which others now stand. Through her sacrifices, prayers, and guidance, the Order has not only grown but also flourished. She has taught us that true leadership is not found in self-exaltation, but in selfless service to God and His people.
Even in moments of trial, our Queen Abbess has remained steadfast, reminding us that perseverance in God’s work brings forth lasting fruit. Today, her legacy is not measured by titles or years, but by the countless lives she has touched, the seeds she has planted, and the light she continues to shine in our midst.
Queen Abbess Dr. Patricia Hackshaw, we salute you. We bless you. We encourage you to continue walking in the grace and strength of the Lord. May your days be lengthened with peace, your spirit lifted with joy, and your heart filled with the assurance that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
