Day 20 – Tell the Truth

Scripture: “Lie not one to another.” (Colossians 3:9)

Honesty is a key to building trust with God, your parents, friends, and teachers. Telling the truth can be difficult sometimes, especially when you fear punishment or rejection. But God wants you to be truthful because lies destroy relationships and bring trouble.

Truthfulness makes your conscience clear and opens the door to God’s blessing. It shows courage and strength to admit mistakes rather than hide them. Remember that Jesus is called “the Truth,” so walking in truth also means walking with Him.

This morning, pray for courage to be truthful in all things, big and small. “Lord, help me to tell the truth always. Help me to be brave and honest even when it’s hard.” Truth will protect you and set you free throughout your life.
