How Do You Enter Into An Anointed Life?
- Faithfulness in service; consider Joseph in prison counselling other prisoners. Although he was in prison, he was in God’s Presence – The Anointed Life. He came out of prison to counsel the leader of the world.
- Think of Mary in the house – enjoying God’s Presence, choosing Jesus’ Presence – Jesus identified with her and wept with her. Mary and Jesus had the anointed life in common.
- Remember David in the wilderness; he was shepherding his father’s flock but God was with Him – He was already living an anointed life. When it was time for that anointed life to manifest, he became King – shepherding the people of God, the same way he had faithfully shepherded his father’s flock.
- Moses in a foreign land, delivered Midian’s daughters from bullying shepherds. God’s Presence was with him and when it was time, that anointed life manifested Moses as the deliverer of Israel from Egypt and the Pharaoh.
- Moses knew the critical value of God’s Presence. He told God that if His Presence would not go with him, he was not going anywhere.
- Are you married to Jesus, fully committed, or are you like a girlfriend – here when the going is good and gone when it gets tough? Total commitment to Jesus will bring you into an anointed life.
- Because God has set you apart for a special task, and has anointed you, He becomes your master and you have access to His Presence. Have you ever seen a personal assistant who could not readily go into the boss’ office?
The more you dwell in God’s Presence, the more your anointing grows, and the greater your anointing, the more in God’s Presence you want to dwell. Your very life becomes anointed.

Action Point
The original Anointed One is Jesus Christ. Once you ask Him into your life, He gives His Holy Spirit to you; He anoints you. No Jesus, no anointing. Invite Him today; He promises to accept your invitation.
