A Message from The Archbishop and Presiding Prelate Hon. Andres B. Quow
To The Mystical Order Ministries: Making Christ the Center of Your Life This Christmas
Beloved Family of The Mystical Order Ministries,
Grace, mercy, and peace be multiplied unto you in this most wonderful season of our Lord. As we stand at the threshold of Christmas, my heart overflows with gratitude to Almighty God for His faithfulness to us throughout this year. It is with great joy and spiritual enthusiasm that I extend to each of you my warmest greetings and sincere wishes for a blessed and joyous holiday season.
Christmas is the celebration of the greatest miracle the world has ever known—the miraculous birth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. In that quiet stable in Bethlehem, divinity clothed itself in humanity, and God stepped into time and space to redeem His creation. This profound mystery should fill our hearts with wonder, our minds with reverence, and our lives with purposeful devotion.

As your Archbishop and Presiding Prelate, I challenge you this Christmas season to examine the place Christ occupies in your life. Is He merely a seasonal figure we acknowledge during holidays, or is He truly the Lord and Master of every aspect of our existence? Making Christ the center of your life is not a one-time decision but a daily, intentional commitment to honour Him in all things.
When Christ is at the center, our priorities align with His will. Our resources are stewarded according to His principles. Our relationships reflect His love. Our words carry His grace. Our actions demonstrate His compassion. We cease to live for ourselves and instead live as ambassadors of His kingdom, representing Him faithfully in a world desperately in need of His light.
This Christmas, I encourage you to create meaningful moments of worship and reflection. Gather your families and read the Christmas story from Scripture. Sing hymns and carols that exalt His name. Take time to pray—not just offering requests, but expressing adoration for who He is. In the midst of your celebrations, pause to remember the significance of that first Christmas night when angels sang, shepherds worshipped, and creation rejoiced at the arrival of the King of Kings.
Let us also remember that making Christ the center means embodying His character. He came as a servant, and we are called to serve. He showed compassion to the outcasts, and we must extend love to the marginalized. He fed the hungry, healed the sick, and brought hope to the hopeless. This Christmas, let your celebration overflow into acts of kindness, generosity, and Christian charity that bless others and glorify God.
To our clergy, continue to faithfully shepherd the flock with wisdom and dedication. To our members, remain steadfast in your commitment to spiritual growth and communal fellowship. Together, as one body united in Christ, we can shine brightly in these times, demonstrating to the world what it truly means to live with Christ at the center.
May the joy of His birth fill your hearts, the peace of His presence guard your homes, and the love of His sacrifice transform your lives. Wishing you and your loved ones a truly blessed and Christ-centered Christmas.
In Christ’s Enduring Love,
The Archbishop and Presiding Prelate Hon. Andres B. Quow
