Scripture: “Pray without ceasing.” (1 Thessalonians 5:17)
Prayer is one of the greatest gifts God has given us. It’s not just talking to God, but building a connection with Him every moment of the day. When you pray, you are tapping into God’s power and love, receiving strength for whatever challenges you face. Imagine prayer as a direct phone line to heaven that you can use anytime.
Many times, school or life may bring worries or fears. Instead of feeling scared or alone, talk to God about everything: your homework, your friendships, your dreams, or any problem. Prayer calms your mind and reminds you that God is in control. The Bible says to pray “without ceasing,” which means to keep talking to God all day long, in heart and mind, not just with words.
This morning, start your day with a prayer like this: “Lord, thank You for this new day. Please be with me in school and at home. Help me to do my best and to remember You in all I do.” You will find that prayer is power—it changes your spirit and your future in wonderful ways.
