The Hope of Eternal Life
Dear Beloved in the Lord,
The hope of eternal life is the anchor of our faith, the promise that sustains us through the trials and sorrows of this world. Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die” (John 11:25). This promise is not just for the future; it is a present reality that transforms how we live today.
Eternal life is not merely an extension of our earthly existence; it is a quality of life that begins the moment we place our faith in Christ. It is a life marked by peace, joy, and the assurance that death is not the end but a transition into the presence of God. The Apostle John writes, “And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life” (1 John 5:11-12).

This hope is not based on our own merit but on the finished work of Christ on the cross. Because of His sacrifice, we can face the future with confidence, knowing that our eternal destiny is secure in Him. This hope also compels us to live with purpose, to love boldly, and to share the message of salvation with others.
Let us hold fast to the hope of eternal life, allowing it to shape our priorities, our relationships, and our daily walk with God. And let us live in such a way that others see in us the hope that we have in Christ.
May the hope of eternal life fill you with joy, peace, and a renewed sense of purpose.
In His Hope,
Archbishop and Presiding Prelate
Sir Andres B. Quow
