WEEPING MAY ENDURE FOR THE NIGHT, BUT ………….

FROM THE DESK OF THE CARDINAL

Sir Eric Alleyne

O God, our help in ages past,
Our hope for years to come,
Out shelter from the stormy blast,
And our eternal home

Time, like an ever rolling stream,
Bears all its sons away,
They fly forgotten, as a dream,
Dies at the opening day.

Before Jehovah’s awful throne, ye nations bow with sacred joy, know that the Lord is God alone, He can create and He destroy. A pleasant and wonderful morning to my family in the Lord. Beloved let us magnify the Lord this morning for He is worthy to be praised. Heavenly Father, we come bowing our heads to mother earth and our knees to your scepter, Lord we honour, glorify and adore you this morning, we thank you for spared life and tender mercies, as we send up our prayers and supplications this morning we await your directions and blessings. Master please guard, guide and protect  us as we labour on throughout  this day, in Jesus Almighty name. Amen!

Peace and blessings to the Patriarch, my Archbishop, Queen Abbess, all ministers, members, friends and well wishers of The Mystical Order, I greet you in the mighty name of Jesus. Children of The Most High I’m a bit perplex, we’re in the month of December — which is supposed to be joyous and full of glad tidings, and I’m still basking in God’s glory and honour for the wonderful and Holy ceremonies which was performed by the hierarchy of The Mystical Order in St Croix last weekend. However, I have to accept and live with the passing of a great leader, the former President of South Africa — Nelson Mandela. The late Mr Mandela was once referred to as the modern day Moses, we know for a fact that Moses orchestrated the exodus of the children of Israel from Egypt with God’s direction. Mr Mandela stood strongly against the persecution of his people and against apartheid in South Africa. He was sentenced to life in prison, but never gave up his struggle, knowing fully well, like the late Doctor Martin Luther King, that with perseverance and endurance he will over come one day. Mr Mandela was released from prison after 27 years, and a few years later the world watched as apartheid was dismantled in South Africa. Saints of God as I close this portion on our late leader, I’ll leave you one of his quote: “What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived. It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead”. Praise the Lord! Hallelujah!

Children of Jericho we have to stand for something or fall for anything. Do you recall Moses preferred to suffer affliction with the children of Israel, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season. Even Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego stood up for the True and Living God for they knew weeping may endure for the night, but joy cometh in the morning. What a mighty God we serve, believers let us look to Jesus and live. As I aforementioned, we’re in the month of December and I don’t want to step out of line nor rush the commemoration of the birth, but could you imagine what Joseph and Mary had to endure to find lodging for Jesus’s birth. Scripture said there was no room in the inn, [ hmmnnn ], I wonder, but I won’t get into that. Joseph and Mary found a stable, some spiritual people said it was a cave, nevertheless, God is too wise to make a mistake. This scenery was to portray humility, and it was a very good example for us. Beloved, let us humble ourselves, let us wait on the Lord, whatever we’re going through Almighty God will open a way for us, weeping may endure for the night, but joy cometh in the morning. Praise the Lord!
In closing brethren, the race is not for the swift, nor the battle for the strong, but for those who can endure to the end.  Almighty God, we thank you for the word, we thank you for the Blessed Mother Mary, Master we thank you for all you have done for us. Please strengthen our elders in This Mystical Order, give them your enduring spirit. Master please remember the homeless, the hungry and needy children, this Yuletide Season. Jehovah God have mercy on the soul of our departed leader, Mr Mandela, comfort his relatives and all whose life he touched. King Jesus, I pray for all my spiritual brothers and sisters, may we have the same determination which is to serve you in spirit and in truth. All these and more blessings we pray for in Jesus Almighty name. Amen!
Until we meet again Christian friends, joy cometh in the morning.
Your humble servant,
His Eminence, Eric Alleyne.  LOM  OHPA  OSM.
