“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” (Acts 1:8).
There is the power for us if we have the Holy Ghost. God wants us to speak to men so that they will feel it so that they will never forget it. That was the purpose of THE GREAT COMMISSION.
God means every Christian to be effective, to count in the actual records and results of Christian work. Dear friends, daily readers, brothers and sisters, God sent you here to be a power to yourself. In other words to make avail to Him so He can fill you with that anointing and renewing of the Holy Spirit so you can be good and effective witnesses for Him. Then you will be able to go into all the world and minister the goodness and gospel of Christ.
There is not one of you but is an essential wheel of the machinery, and can accomplish all that God calls you to. I solemnly believe that there is not a thing that God expects of man but that God will give the manpower to do. There is not a claim God makes on you or me but God will stand up to and will give what He commands. I rant to repeat something that my brother Bishop Andres mentioned in his message THERE IS STILL HOPE (Part 2) when he spoke of organization. Everything must be in an organized form in order for it to function properly. Therefore, there must be a waiting period in our lives that will prepare us for the mission. Hallelujah, I am feeling the anointing on this message. I need a pulpit for this anointed word.
I believe when Christ Jesus lived and died and sent down the Holy Ghost, He sent resources for all our need, and that there is no place for failure in Christian life if we will take God’s resources. Jesus, the ascended One, and the Holy Ghost, the indwelling energy, life and efficiency of God, are sufficient for all possible emergencies.
Do you believe this? If you believe it, let Him into your heart, without reservation and allow Him to control and work through you today by His power. Will you allow Him the opportunity as He knocks through this message. God bless and keep you.
