Is a tool often explained when building a ship or a building is a plumb or plumb line? It is like a level for vertical things, it tells us if something is perfectly vertical or if it is askew.
The Plumb Line is reminder to live a life that is upright, honest and just. In the rituals of The Mystical Court, it says, As an insecure building must eventually fall, so be whose life that is nor supported by an upright course of conduct can no longer sustain a worthy reputation and must soon sink beneath the estimation of every good and virtuous man or woman.
In other rituals, we read that the plumb admonishes us to walk uprightly in our several stations before God and man.
Like every instrument we use in The Mystical Court it is a working tool, The plumb line contains a lesson that can help us make good choices in each of our daily decisions. Always choose the option that is true and right. Every choice we make forms the foundation of our life. Build a solid foundation by making decisions and choosing solid options with integrity.
