A Level is a tool used in carpentry and masonry. It is a tool used as a symbol in lodges and other organizations like The Mystical Court and the Mystical Order Ministries. Members of the Mystical Court use the level in their rituals to test the horizontals of an object, to make sure it is smooth, even and level. It is also used in the Mystical Court as a reminder that we come from the same place, share in the same goal, and will eventually be judged by the same immutable law,
The level is a symbol of equality among brethren in the Court or organization and teaches the intrinsic equality of all people.
One of the universal experiences of all human beings is that we are all travelling on the same level of time. In our rituals, it states: “And for each and all, time will lead us to that undiscovered country from whose bourne no traveller returns,”
Remember that all people are intrinsically equal because it pleased God, the Supreme Architect of the Universe to create us this way in His own image. Every member of this Mystical Court and fraternal organization stands equal to all others regardless of his or her background, wealth, race, religion or any other distinguishing factor. All of us have different paths through life but each ends in the same way.
