This is the end of another week and we are happy to be in the land of the living to offer praise and thanks to Almighty God. O, for a closer walk with God a calm and Heavenly frame. Many had hoped to be here to do or celebrate something, but have been called from works to reward.
It is always a blessing and pleasure to witness the word of God to a dying generation. Every minute counts for the saving of lives. The watchman cannot stand in position and fail to warn the people. God requires it and it must be done. We have a charge to keep and a God to glorify.
Our ministers at home and abroad, fellow readers, brothers and sisters. I greet you with peace and the love of God. This is the day that the Lord has made, so let us rejoice and be glad in it. The courage to stand up and say that Jesus is mine is a testimony that He is working in us.
As the days come and go so quickly we are thinking about the lent season that is so dear to the heart of the Christian church. Soon it will be Easter and we will be once more reminded of the Cross and the Resurrection. Hallelujah, we will forever be in remembrance until He comes.
This is the time when many people are preparing to revel in the carnival, and this includes many who go to church will be actively playing mass and jumping in the bands. The devil is securing his children and placing them on display. Truly he comes to steal, kill and destroy. Hallelujah, Jesus Christ came that we will have life and more abundantly. Thank you, Lord, for your saving grace. This is truly the Lord’s bidding to sift the wheat from the chaff. Yes, Satan’s desire is to sift the church as wheat, but someone prayed for me so as I gained strength I must strengthen the brethren.
Listen to me now for one minute and I trust I can save one soul. If you love Jesus, come out from the things of the world and let Jesus take over your life. The Bible tells me that there will be joy in heaven over one sinner that repents more than ninety and nine that need no repentance. Hear Christ calling to you now to come out of the wilderness. Beloved though your sins be as scarlet they shall be as white as snow. Though the be red like crimson they shall be white as wool.
Our song should be, “to be like Jesus, on earth I long to be like Him. All through this journey I only ask to be like Him.” Jesus is tenderly calling us to higher heights and deeper depths. But you have to listen to that still small voice. “Come home” sons and daughters inherit this kingdom given to you before the foundation of the world. Just say, here am I send me.
Lord Jesus another day your children bow in your presence just to say thanks for sparing our lives. We thank you for the daily word of encouragement. We thank you for The Mystical Order and its members, friends, and well-wishers. Leadership and the spiritual structure afforded us whereby we can accomplish the peace which passeth all understanding. We thank you for your word and know you will not leave us nor forsake us. And so Father in everything we will give Thee thanks for every favour you have given us. I thank you and you get all the honour and the glory. AMEN
