The Pathway to True Devotion
“I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.” — Romans 12:1
My Precious Children,
Sacrifice is not about loss—it is about love. It is the willingness to release what we hold dear for the sake of something greater: God’s glory and His kingdom. I have walked this path for many years, and I have learned that sacrifice is not a burden but a privilege. It is the opportunity to participate in God’s work, to align our hearts with His purposes, and to experience the depth of His love.
In The Mystical Order, we do not sacrifice to earn God’s favour. We sacrifice because we have already received His love. Every act of surrender—whether it is our time, our comfort, or our ambitions—is an act of worship. It is the recognition that God is worthy of all we are and all we have.

But let me share a truth I have learned: Sacrifice is not about what we give up but about what we gain. When we release our plans to God, He gives us His peace. When we surrender our resources, He provides in ways we cannot imagine. When we lay down our lives, He fills us with His presence.
Ask yourself: What is God asking me to surrender for His glory? True sacrifice is not about deprivation but about trust—believing that God’s plans are better than our own.
With a Heart of Devotion,
Queen Abbess Patricia
