Prepare for Elevation
My friends, brothers and sisters aren’t it amazing how time flies these days? We are already in March. I believe that God has kept you well in Jesus’ Mighty Name, Amen.
I am well and basking in the sunshine of our Lord. We love you and pray that God will continue to bless, keep you and enlarge you. We also love hearing from you and covet your prayers.
This Month, prepare for ELEVATION!
2 Samuel 9:3-5 records the following …
“And the king said, Is there not yet any of the house of Saul, that I may shew the kindness of God unto him? And Ziba said unto the king, Jonathan hath yet a son, which is lame on his feet. 4 And the king said unto him, Where is he? And Ziba said unto the king, Behold, he is in the house of Machir, the son of Ammiel, in Lodebar. 5 Then king David sent, and fetched him out of the house of Machir, the son of Ammiel, from Lodebar.” (2 Samuel 9:3-5)
My brothers, sisters, friends and fellow readers, Elevation means being brought from a low position to a higher one. Elevation entails repositioning. Elevation will lead to reassignment to a higher position. This month, get ready for Elevation.
In the Bible passage above, Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan and grandson of King Saul, was five years old when news came that both his father and grandfather had been killed in battle at Jezreel. When the nurse taking care of him heard the news, in an attempt to flee, she dropped him. As a result of the fall, he became lame in both feet. He was hidden in the house of Makir son of Ammiel in Lo Debar, where he remained in hiding, for fear of being killed. This was a land of forgetfulness and forgotten was he, so it seemed. Until one day he heard a knock on the door and that changed his life forever. Brother and sisters, I pray that there will be a knock on your door or a divine visitation that will elevate you forever in Jesus’ Mighty Name, Amen. From that moment onward, Mephibosheth relocated to the King’s palace.
He was Fetched
2 Samuel 9:5 Then king David sent, and fetched him out of the house of Machir, the son of Ammiel, from Lodebar.
My friend, brothers and sisters’ elevation entails being fetched or carried. Mephibosheth never exercised his own efforts. This season, get ready to be fetched to your new position. The Bible records that David was also fetched (1 Samuel 16:11). It does not matter if you feel that you have been crushed and there is no bone left in you, God Almighty is releasing angels on assignment to fetch you to your high-level in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
I am a Dead Dog
2 Samuel 9:8 And he bowed himself, and said, What is thy servant, that thou shouldest look upon such a dead dog as I am?
Mephibosheth had given up completely. In fact, he calls himself a dead dog. Friends, brothers and sisters the elevation God brings are in spite of you! God does not care how you see yourself. He has a plan of elevation for you, plans not of evil but of good, to give you a future and an expected end. My friends, brothers and sisters I destroy every self-pity, every spirit of low esteem, everything that makes you look down on yourself, I destroy it in Jesus’ Mighty Name, Amen. I declare that you will begin to see yourself as God sees you. You will see yourself differently as HE lifts you up to your elevated position in Jesus’ Mighty Name, Amen.
2 Samuel 9:11 Then said Ziba unto the king, According to all that my lord the king hath commanded his servant, so shall thy servant do. As for Mephibosheth, said the king, he shall eat at my table, as one of the king’s sons.
My friends, brothers and sisters the king decreed that Mephibosheth would eat from the king’s table all the days of his life. Elevation has a way of repositioning you for good. My friends, brothers and sisters get ready for uncommon favour as the Lord elevates you. Get ready for uncommon laws to be decreed in your favour in Jesus’ Mighty name, Amen. A king’s decree was made in favour of Esther, Nehemiah, Mordecai, and Joseph – get ready for your own decree to be made in Jesus’ Mighty Name, Amen. Your elevation will be unto honour in Jesus’ Mighty Name, Amen.
2 Samuel 9:9 Then the king called to Ziba, Saul’s servant, and said unto him, I have given unto thy master’s son all that pertained to Saul and to all his house.
King David restored all that Mephibosheth was to have inherited from his father and grandfather. Friend, get ready for total restoration. In this season, get ready for a restoration of all that the enemy has stolen from you and your family as God elevates you. My friends, brothers and sisters this elevation are for restoration in Jesus’ Mighty name, Amen.
It is pertinent to note that, it is a servant that dropped him and a servant that went to bring him up to the elevated position. Get ready because it is the same people who were crushing and trampling you down, who God will command to push you to your elevated position. This is exactly what happened with Mordecai. Get ready for so shall it be in Jesus’ Mighty Name, Amen.
Elevation all round
My friends, brothers and sisters get ready for a round elevation. In Deuteronomy 1:11, the Bible says “(The Lord God of your fathers make you a thousand times so many more as ye are, and bless you, as he hath promised you!)”. I decree that this is your portion in Jesus’ mighty name.
I see your prayer life receiving an elevation, I see your business being elevated, I see your ministry being elevated, and I see your intimacy with God being elevated in Jesus’ Mighty Name, Amen. My friends, brothers and sisters, you will be elevated in the Knowledge of God. Just remember, when God elevates, often He does not use the conventional route. Expect an unexpected elevation in Jesus’ Mighty Name, Amen.
Your current position is not necessarily an indicator of where God is taking you. God has the ability to pick up an orphan like Esther and make her a queen, or David a lastborn (a shepherd boy) and make him king or Moses a stammerer and make him a leader. Nothing is impossible with God.
My friends, brothers and sisters get ready, this is your season of elevation and when God elevates, no force of gravity can pull you down in Jesus’ Mighty Name, Amen.
