📖 Encouragement for Students: Learn Well in School

Dear students, as you begin or continue your academic journey, remember this important truth from God’s Word: learning well is not only about acquiring knowledge but also about developing wisdom and character through God’s guidance.

The Bible tells us, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction” (Proverbs 1:7). This means that true learning starts with revering and trusting God. When you respect Him, you open your heart to real wisdom and understanding.

Proverbs 18:15 encourages us: “The heart of the discerning acquires knowledge, for the ears of the wise seek it out.” Be eager to listen, ask questions, and absorb what you learn. Your heart and mind are gifts from God meant to be nurtured and developed through study.

Remember also what Colossians 3:23 says: “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.” Whatever subject you study or task you perform, do it wholeheartedly, as if you are serving God Himself. This attitude brings purpose and honour to your learning.

Learning well prepares you not just for tests and grades but for life—to serve others and fulfil the plans God has for you. So, pursue your studies with diligence, patience, and a spirit that seeks God’s wisdom every day.
