The Beauty of a Set-Apart Life
“But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do.” — 1 Peter 1:15
My Dear Children,
Holiness is the beauty of a set-apart life. It is not about legalism or self-righteousness but about a heart fully devoted to God. I have spent my life pursuing holiness, and I have learned that it is not about perfection but about consecration—a daily choice to align our lives with God’s heart and to turn away from anything that would hinder our relationship with Him.
In The Mystical Order, we do not pursue holiness to earn God’s love. We pursue it because we are already loved. Holiness is the response of a heart that has been transformed by grace, a heart that seeks to reflect the character of Christ in every area of life. It is the willingness to live differently, to love deeply, and to walk in purity.
But let me warn you: The world will tempt you to compromise, to blend in, and to lower God’s standards. Do not be deceived. True holiness is not about rules; it is about relationship—a heart that longs to please God and to live in a way that honours Him.
Ask yourself: Am I pursuing holiness in my daily life, or am I conforming to the patterns of this world? True holiness is not about outward appearances but about a heart that is fully surrendered to God.
With a Heart of Holiness,
Queen Abbess Patricia
