As we approach the day that is coveted throughout the world known as “Father’s Day” I want to highlight some of the great men of the Bible. I hope to speak daily of someone that is special and made such a contribution that we still cherish today.
I hope that these men have something in common in the lives of the fathers that will read these summaries throughout the month of June.
Great men in the Bible abound throughout its pages. The Bible has stories of military heroes, prophets, preachers and kings who have followed God and given us good examples to follow. While there are many minor characters mentioned in the Bible who are good role models, here is a list of seven men who were major influences in the history of the Bible.
