EVERY SAINT HAS A PAST (PART ONE)

A Study In Forgetting The Past And Re-Focusing Upon The Present And Future Goodness Of GOD

I am trying by the Grace of God to delve into this study which will be posted over the next few days. Forgetting the past and looking into the future.

Have you ever encountered an individual, or might have personally been such a person at some point in your life, that is quick to be judgmental of others?  Perhaps you have taken at least a mental assessment, or perspective, of others, and, as a result, have decided in your own heart/mind to castigate, denigrate, or deride, someone else for what you have perceived to be that person’s substandard effort, or failing, through his/her lack of awareness, commitment, focus, appreciation, dedication, or accomplishment regarding a particular task of pursuit.  Why, it seems to happen, on a daily basis, that persons believe themselves capable of making judgments regarding the performance of the President of the United States, the Prime Minister of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, the Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago or another world leader, while they are equipped with so very little, or absolutely NO, substantive information, regarding affairs that he or she must tackle every day.  Their judgmental postures are also directed toward their appointees, the inception, structure, and necessity for various social programs, the general overall welfare of the nation-at-large, and world conditions in the main.  We have become nations of what used to call “the Know-It-Alls”.

As a young boy, I heard many old sayings from my parents and it took me some years to understand what some of them meant, “A Little Knowledge Is A Very Dangerous Thing” what do you understand by that phrase.  For a good many years of my young life, I didn’t comprehend the magnitude of these words or the significance of the concept that they convey.  Years of time and experience have tended to provide me with a more expanded perspective in this regard, which no amount of money, or regular formal education, for that matter, could ever have provided.

Contributed to the ancient Chinese sage, Confucius, are the words “EXPERIENCE Is The Most Noble Teacher Of All”, and we accept such to be generally true.  There is no more rewarding experience in life than that of having the first-hand knowledge of someone, or something, gained through direct interaction and exchange.  Thus, we come to the focus of this study, today, in which we will discuss GOD’s Experience and Interaction with us, and our experience and interaction with Him.  In the course of this Study, The PATIENCE of GOD, or what The Holy Bible calls The LONG-SUFFERING of GOD, will be given consideration, as Such Relates, Substantively, To our lives.

May THE GOD OF ALL POWER AND GLORY Grant that this Great Mystical Study minister will have the Insight, Wisdom, and Understanding, to present this Lesson so that it might prove to be informative and life-changing to those that will hear its words and choose to honour their intent by inculcating these things into their daily Walks of FAITH.   Amen and Amen.

And now, today’s Study will be CONTINUED TOMORROW …
