Ceremonial Message of Encouragement and Blessing
Beloved Abbess Mother Elnette Edwards, Matriarch-Elect,
On this momentous occasion, we gather in reverence and joy, giving thanks to Almighty God who appoints seasons, raises leaders, and anoints vessels for His holy work. Today, we bear witness to the consecrating grace that rests upon you, setting you apart as Mother and Matriarch among the faithful.
Your journey has been marked by steadfast prayer, humble service, and unwavering devotion. These are the fruits that bear testimony to your calling and affirm Heaven’s seal upon your life. As you take up this office, may your heart be strengthened with Divine wisdom and clothed with the mantle of discernment, so that every step you take brings clarity, hope, and healing to the flock entrusted to your care.
Be encouraged, Daughter of Zion, for the Lord declares, “My strength is made perfect in weakness.” When burdens feel heavy, remember that the yoke of Christ is gentle, and His peace will sustain you. When decisions weigh upon your spirit, may the Holy Ghost speak to you with the stillness of His voice, directing you in paths of righteousness.
Know that you do not ascend to this seat alone. The prayers of the saints surround you; the fellowship of your brothers and sisters uphold you; and the intercession of Heaven itself stands as your shield. Take joy in the knowledge that you are chosen, favoured, and appointed for such a time as this.
As Matriarch-Elect, accept this charge with courage, walk in it with humility, and live it with the dignity of one called by God’s eternal hand. May your leadership overflow with grace, your service be marked with compassion, and your legacy resound with faith that endures from generation to generation.
And so, we release upon you Heaven’s blessing: may the Lord bless you and keep you; may His face shine upon you and give you peace; may His Spirit rest upon you and crown your steps with victory, now and forevermore.
