BEHOLD THE MASTER PASSETH BY!

THE CARDINAL SPEAKS:

His Eminence Sir Eric Alleyne

Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it; except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. A pleasant and wonderful morning to That which was, which is and will ever be, the one which said, “let there be light”, and there was light. Thanking Almighty God for spared life and tender mercies, for this cause, we honour, glorify, bless and uplift Your holy name. To our Patriarch, my Archbishop, all ministers, members, friends and well wishers of the Mystical Order of Spiritual Baptist Inc 2012, I greet you in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen! Beloved it is vain for us to rise up early, sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows, I’m sure none of us would like to hear, depart from me I know ye not. Brothers and sisters, do we really understand our calling or our mission or why we are, who we are? This may sound strange but we are not here by luck nor chance, everyone has their part to play whether it be good, bad or indifferent. What is amazing, some of us, (myself being the main culprit) ignore our role and stress about the way and manner someone else is playing their part. Brothers and sisters, we are not God, we must not judge, those indivuals are merly functioning in the capicity that they have come accustomed to and dwell therein. Almighty God is His own interpreter, and He will make it plain. Amen!

Saints of God, I’m a bit troubled but not surprised, because we call ourselves sons and daughters of The Most High, we read the Holy Scriptures, we pray like Paul, some of us have the opportunity to testify to a congregation at Church, but some where, something is missing. A connection between physicall and spiritual is absent, we cannot be preaching something and practising another. If we say Lord God on the Sabbath day, then every other day we should follow the same doctrine. Amen! Hallelujah!
Beloved my mission today is to remind us to cast care aside, lean on Jesus guide, for His boundless mercy will provide. Are we storing up treasures in Heaven, whereby paving our way for that great day of Salvation? Family in Christ I must remind us that, days and moments quickly flying, blend the living with the dead; soon will you and I be lying, each within our narrow bed.
I’m leaving two verses of the hymn in my subject for us to ponder on, not just to sing or hum, let us really digest the words and make our calling and election sure. Amen!
One heard Him calling long ago
And straightway left all things below,
Counting his earthly gain as loss
For Jesus and His blessed Cross.
God sweetly calls us every day,
Why should we then our bliss delay?
He calls toHeav’n and endless light,
Why should we love the dreary night?
In closing, we thank Almighty God for His blessings today, Jesus we thank you that, we still have time to flee from the wrath to come. Master we thank you for our elders in The Mystical Order, please continue to bless and preserve them for Your works sake. Jehovah Jireh, please provide for us as go about our chores throughout this day and for ever more in Jesus Almighty name. Amen!
