To my beloved faithful in Christ Jesus, and to my Spiritual Baptist family around the world:
Grace, mercy, and peace be multiplied unto you from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ, in whom we live, move, and have our being.
I write to you today not with a heavy heart, but with a spirit of holy expectation. In these trying times, the enemy would love to see you grow weary in well-doing. But I charge you—continue living for God! Do not look back, for you have put your hand to the plough. Do not grow faint, for your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
We are called to be a peculiar people, a royal priesthood. And as your Patriarch, I remind you: God is seeking those who will serve Him in Spirit and in Truth (John 4:24). Not in pretense. Not in dry ritual. But in the fiery, living reality of a sanctified heart. Let your worship be real. Let your prayer life be deep. Let your service be from a place of love, not obligation.

To my Spiritual Baptist family—you who know the meaning of travail and the sound of the trumpet in Zion—strive for honesty. Let your yes be yes, and your no be no. Let there be no guile found in your mouth. In all your ways—in the home, in the marketplace, in the church, and in the secret place—acknowledge Him. Do not lean on your own understanding. Seek His face before you move your feet. And He shall direct your paths (Proverbs 3:6).
Remember, you are not walking alone. The ancestors of the faith cheer you on. The angels watch your steadfastness. And the Lord Jesus Himself intercedes for you at the right hand of the Father.
So lift your heads, soldiers of the Cross. Put on your whole armour. Sing the old songs. March in the ancient highway. Keep your garment spotless. And let the world see a people who love not their lives unto death, but who serve the Living God with every breath.
May the Lord bless you and keep you. May His face shine upon you and be gracious unto you. May He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace, now and forevermore.
Love ❤️ in the precious, all-powerful Name of Jesus,
Patriarch Sir Godfrey Gregg
