21 Days of Prayer and Fasting: “In Unity There Is Strength”
March 16 – April 5, 2026
From Patriarch Godfrey Gregg
The Mystical Order Ministries
Beloved Members and Friends of The Mystical Order Ministries,
Grace and peace to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is with great joy and anticipation that I welcome you to this sacred season of twenty-one days of prayer and fasting. You have not stumbled upon this moment by accident—God has ordained your participation in this spiritual journey, and He has mighty purposes to fulfill in you and through you over these coming days.
A Divine Appointment
When we set aside time to fast and pray, we are not merely engaging in religious ritual. We are positioning ourselves for divine encounter. We are saying to God, “You are more important than my physical comfort. Your voice is more vital than my daily routine. Your will is more precious than my personal preferences.” This kind of consecration moves the heart of God and releases His power in extraordinary ways.

I want you to know that embarking on this journey takes courage. In a world that constantly demands our attention, energy, and appetite, choosing to fast is countercultural. It requires discipline, determination, and dependence on God’s strength. But I assure you—the rewards far exceed the sacrifice. What you invest in these twenty-one days will yield returns for years to come.
The Power of United Fasting
There is something uniquely powerful about corporate fasting. When individuals fast alone, they experience personal breakthrough. But when a community of believers fasts together, united in purpose and agreement, we tap into a dimension of spiritual authority that can shift atmospheres, break strongholds, and release revival.
Our theme—”In Unity There Is Strength”—is not coincidental. Throughout Scripture, we see that God honors the prayers of His people when they gather in one accord. At Pentecost, 120 believers prayed together in unity, and the Holy Spirit fell with power. When Jehoshaphat proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah and the people gathered with one purpose, God delivered them from impossible odds. When the early church prayed in unity for Peter’s release, angels opened prison doors.
The same God who moved in those situations is ready to move in ours. But we must come together—not just physically present, but spiritually aligned, hearts knit together in love and common purpose. Over these twenty-one days, we will explore what true unity means and how it releases the strength of God in our midst.
What to Expect
This journey will challenge you. There will be moments when your flesh cries out for comfort, when convenience tempts you to quit, when distractions attempt to derail your focus. This is normal. This is expected. And this is where spiritual growth happens—not in the easy moments, but in the moments when you push past your limitations and discover God’s sufficiency.
You may experience physical hunger, but it will awaken a deeper hunger for God. You may feel weakness in your body, but you will discover supernatural strength in your spirit. You may face increased spiritual opposition, but you will learn to stand firm in the power of prayer and the authority of God’s Word.
Each day, you will receive a devotional message to guide your meditation and prayer. These are not meant to be merely read but pondered, prayed through, and applied. Take time with each message. Let the Scripture sink deep into your spirit. Allow the Holy Spirit to speak to you personally through the principles presented.
Practical Guidelines
As you enter this fast, let me offer some practical wisdom:
Choose your fast prayerfully. Some will abstain from all food, taking only liquids. Others will do a partial fast, eliminating certain foods or meals. Some may fast from media, entertainment, or other activities that consume time and attention. The important thing is not the specific type of fast but that you make a genuine sacrifice and remain consistent throughout the twenty-one days. Seek God’s direction about what He is calling you to lay down during this season.
Prepare your body. If you’re fasting from food, prepare by gradually reducing your intake in the days leading up to March 16th. Stay well hydrated throughout the fast. Listen to your body, and if you have medical conditions, consult with your physician about the appropriate type of fast for you. Remember, the goal is spiritual breakthrough, not physical harm.
Guard your time. Use the time you would normally spend eating or engaging in activities you’ve fasted from to pray, read Scripture, and worship. This is not merely about giving something up—it’s about replacing it with something infinitely more valuable: intimate time with God.
Connect with others. While fasting includes private discipline, don’t isolate yourself. Attend corporate prayer gatherings. Share testimonies of what God is doing. Encourage one another. The unity we’re pursuing is built through relationship, not just proximity.
Expect resistance. The enemy will not celebrate your decision to fast and pray. He may attack through discouragement, distraction, doubt, or division. Recognize his tactics and refuse to cooperate with them. When resistance comes—and it will—that’s your confirmation that you’re doing something that threatens the kingdom of darkness. Press in harder.
Record your journey. Keep a journal of what God speaks to you, Scriptures that come alive, prayers that are answered, and insights you receive. Twenty-one days from now, you’ll want to remember what God did during this season.
What God Will Do
I want to share with you what I believe God desires to accomplish through this consecrated time:
Personal renewal. Fasting has a way of burning away the superficial and bringing us to the core of who we are in God. Expect Him to address areas of your life that need transformation. Welcome His refining work.
Spiritual breakthrough. Many of you have been praying for breakthroughs that seem delayed. These twenty-one days can be the tipping point. Your persistence in prayer and fasting may be exactly what releases the answer that’s been in transit.
Strengthened relationships. As we focus on unity, God will heal broken relationships, restore trust, and deepen our love for one another. Families will be strengthened. Friendships will be forged. Our church family will become more tightly knit.
Fresh vision and direction. When we quiet the noise of daily life and create space to hear God’s voice, He speaks. Expect clarity about your purpose, confirmation of decisions, and insight into next steps for your life and our ministry.
Increased spiritual sensitivity. Fasting heightens our spiritual senses. You’ll become more aware of the Holy Spirit’s presence, more sensitive to His leading, and more discerning of spiritual realities. This sensitivity, cultivated over twenty-one days, can become your new normal.
Corporate anointing. As we pray and fast together, an anointing will rest upon The Mystical Order Ministries that will carry us into our future. We will experience a new level of power, authority, and effectiveness in ministry.
A Final Word of Encouragement
I am so proud of you for saying yes to this challenge. Your willingness to deny yourself, take up your cross, and follow Jesus in this practical way demonstrates the depth of your commitment and the sincerity of your hunger for more of God.
Remember, you are not alone in this. I will be fasting and praying alongside you every single day. Our leadership team is committed to this season. And most importantly, the Holy Spirit is with you, strengthening you, guiding you, and interceding through you with groanings that cannot be uttered.
There will be days when you feel strong and days when you feel weak. On the strong days, help someone else. On the weak days, let others help you. This is the beauty of doing this together—we carry one another.
Twenty-one days may seem long at the beginning, but I promise you, when we gather on April 5th to conclude this fast, you will look back in amazement at how quickly it passed and how profoundly God moved. You will be different—stronger in faith, deeper in love, clearer in purpose, and more united as a spiritual family.
I believe we are on the threshold of something significant. God has more for The Mystical Order Ministries than we’ve yet experienced, and this season of consecration is preparing us to receive it. Your participation matters. Your prayers make a difference. Your sacrifice is not in vain.
So let us enter these twenty-one days with faith and expectation. Let us support one another with love and encouragement. Let us seek God with our whole hearts. And let us watch with anticipation as He demonstrates that truly, in unity there is strength.
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God the Father, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all throughout this journey and beyond.
With love and anticipation,
Patriarch Godfrey Gregg
