Today marks the close of the year 2013 and to God be all honour and glory for the sparing of our lives and the preserving of our souls.
Another day in the week, another week in the month, another year to eternity.  The years roll on and steals away. What a Mighty God we serve and able to reach this day.
I must greet my Lord Patriarch, Queen Abbess, Senior Bishop, Cardinal and the Chief Bishop.  Our many ministers,  brothers and sisters. The year 2013 started out with many blessings, having closed the previous year on a spiritual high note with the elevation of our Patriarch.  We started the year with the elevation and Consecration of our beloved Queen Mother Ursula Lawrence to the rank of Abbess. She is the oldest member within our fold resides in St. Croix, and leads the St. Philomen Spiritual Baptist Church. That journey saw the Queen Abbess Dr. Patricia Hackshaw travelling to St. Croix to preside over the ceremony.
The journey continued throughout the year with many trials and testings which may have weaken some and made others stronger. Bishop Andres visited New York and accompanied me to St. Anthony, Jehovah in Emmanuel and Mt Paran. We had such a wonderful time in the Lord. Our Patriarch visited England on vacation and cemented the work with the church there.
The Mystical Order continue to visit other churches and spread the good word to the lost and dying. In August the church launched its website www.mysticalorderinc.org and ever since it is a source of information to those that log on.  (A special report of the site will be available during the month of January, 2014.)
October, 2013 the Queen Abbess held a candlelight service which was conducted by Bishop Andres of St. Croix. Our Senior Bishop Sir Antonio Providence came to NY for that service and to share in the celebrations. During that weekend end the Patriarch received into fellowship Abbess Lynette from St. Vincent and the Grenadines and the full confirmation of Bishop Andres. The Mystical Order returned to the place where our Patriarch was elevated to give thanks and to deliver an appreciation gift to the Chief Apostle Dr. Waterman. It was a wonderful time in church and The Mystical Order was publicly recognised as family. A plaque was presented to Dr. Waterman by the Patriarch in appreciation for the close bond and clergy to clergy relationship. Later that day the Patriarch blessed two more ministers Bishop Michael Manswell and Abbess Janet Mc Clean and received them into fellowship.  The laying on of hands and praying for the Holy Spirit to rest on them. It was a wonderful ceremony. Lunch was at the Queen Abbess and then to a home going service with Dr Waterman.  We were publicly recognised again at that service.

In December The Patriarch, Queen Abbess and Senior Bishop joined with the new Abbess Lynette in St Croix for the Ordination of two ministers. Bishop Andres and Abbess Lawrence also took part in that service. Senior Bishop Sir Antonio Providence was the chief Consecrator under the watchful eyes of the Patriarch. Reverend James Burnette and Reverend Patricia Flemming were admitted into the Order of the Priesthood. The day closed off with the church thanksgiving service. As the Lord continues to bless the church the year closed off very quietly. 

My family join me in wishing the Clergy and members of The Mystical Order and its Affiliate churches a VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR 2014. May God bless The Mystical Order of Spiritual Baptist Inc.  and may the Love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit rests and abide in our hearts. HAPPY NEW YEAR.
