To Every Mother, Every Woman of Faith, Every Bearer of Life and Love

“She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future.” Proverbs 31:25
Dear Beloved Mothers, Sisters, and Daughters of Faith,
On this glorious and sacred occasion of Mother’s Day, it is with a heart full of gratitude, love, and the deepest reverence that I extend greetings of peace and blessings to each of you. You are not merely celebrated today — you are honoured, you are seen, and you are cherished by God Almighty, by this fellowship, and by all those whose lives you have touched.
To every mother who rises before the dawn and lays her head down long after the household is quiet — we salute you. Your daily sacrifice is not hidden from the eyes of the Lord. Every meal prepared, every tear wiped away, every prayer whispered over a sleeping child, every firm word spoken in love, every gentle hand extended in comfort — these are holy acts. These are the sacred liturgies of motherhood.
You carry the weight of the world within four walls, and you do so with a grace that defies explanation. You are the first teacher, the first pastor, the first counsellor your children will ever know. Before they hear a sermon from any pulpit, they hear the gospel of your life. Before they understand the love of God, they experience it through your arms. What a mighty calling is yours.
We also recognize that the journey of motherhood is not always easy. There are seasons of weariness, seasons of heartbreak, seasons when you give and give and wonder if you have anything left to give. To you in those seasons, I say: be of good courage. The God who placed this calling upon your life has never left your side. He sees the midnight hours. He counts every tear. He honours every act of faithfulness. “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.”
To the single mothers who stand as both pillar and foundation — your strength is extraordinary. To the grandmothers who stepped in when they were needed most — your love is a double portion of grace. To the stepmothers and foster mothers and spiritual mothers who chose to love children who were not born to them — yours is a love that mirrors the very heart of Christ.
★ To the Women and Mothers of The Mystical Order ★
To the women of The Mystical Order Ministries — you are the heartbeat of this sacred fellowship. In the tradition of the Spiritual Baptist Faith, the role of women has always been foundational. You have prayed when others grew weary. You have fasted when the battle was at its fiercest. You have kept the flame of faith burning in your homes, in your communities, and in the sanctuary of the Most High.
You are the mothers who have raised a generation of believers. You have invested not only in the natural lives of your children but in their spiritual inheritance. The seeds of faith that you have planted will bear fruit in ways that eternity alone can measure. Do not grow weary in well doing, for in due season you shall reap if you faint not.
The Spiritual Baptist Faith has always recognised that the spirit of God rests upon daughters as surely as upon sons. You are prophets and teachers, intercessors and leaders, mothers and mentors. This ministry is made richer because of your presence, your gifts, and your unwavering devotion to the Lord Jesus Christ.
As we gather in worship and celebration this Mother’s Day, let us give thanks for every woman who has shaped this family of faith. Let us honour those who have gone before us and encourage those who are yet finding their way. Let us be the village that lifts one another, that speaks life over one another, and that carries the banner of faith into the next generation.
A Word of Blessing
May the Lord bless you and keep you. May He cause His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you. May He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace in your home, strength in your body, and joy unspeakable in your spirit.
May every mother in this fellowship know today that you are deeply loved — by your families, by this fellowship, and by the God who knit you together and called you by name. You are not an ordinary woman. You are women of purpose, women of prayer, and women of power.
