Bishop Ashton as most people call him is known to the Spiritual Baptist Faith and circle as the Apolostic Patriarch Dr Norris V. Ashton and is the head of the New York Archdiocese. He was born in St. Vincent and the Grenadines on the Leeward side of the mainland in the village of Tromaca. He migrated to Trinidad and continued to practise his faith before he immigrated to the United States of America.
It is my honour to make mentioned of him on these pages as a leader, brother, friend and son of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. It was my Patriarch Sir Darrin who introduced me to him a few years ago and I was honoured to be in his presence.
Dr Ashton is one of the most knowledgeable men I came across in the faith on these shores. Humble and full of wisdon. I want to use my time to tell him how much the Patriarch, clergy and members of The Mystical Order appreciate him, love him and pray for him. Though we may not always be in your presence, you are highly acclaimed among us.
Your experience should not go un-noticed and I hope that it will be sooner rather than later your life’s journey will be recorded for the world to take note in the future. Your vision must not die, but will accomplish the purpose while you are here and thereafter.
