Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When either man or woman shall separate 
themselves to vow a vow of a Nazarite, to separate themselves unto the Lord: —Numbers 6:2.
This first clause of the high priest’s benediction is substantially a promise. That blessing which our great High Priest pronounces upon us is sure to come, for he speaks the mind of God.
What a joy to abide under the divine blessing! This puts a gracious flavour into all things. If we are blessed, then all our possessions and enjoyments are blessed; yes, our losses and crosses, and even our disappointments are blessed. God’s blessing is deep, emphatic, effectual. A man’s blessing may begin and end in words, but the blessing of the Lord makes rich and sanctifies. The best wish we can have for our dearest friend is not “May prosperity attend you” but “The Lord bless you.”
So often we hear of the prosperity messages from the mega-churches and we fall for it. Let me say here if the Lord does not bless it then it is no good. Hear me now, if you want a blessing then open your mouth and bless Israel. The Bible tells us that who blesses Israel will be blessed and whosoever curses Israel will be cursed. Take note and warning. I remember when Balaam was going to curse Israel for some money that the animal he was riding had to warn him of the impending danger. Something many of us has found ourselves in from time to time.
David had several opportunities to kill King Saul but did not for the simple reason Saul was anointed by God. You see when God anoints you nothing can go against you unless God allows it. In that anointing is embedded the blessings from Almighty God. Look at this now brethren satan went to Job but there was a barrier. I hope you see what I am talking about now. Satan could not penetrate Job because of the anointing. With that anointing, there was protection, Oh hallelujah a complete guard around the whole family. Satan approached God and asked him to remove the protection and he will cause Job to curse Him. He (satan) was given that permission. There is no fear in God and His children. I had my share of persecution and they are still coming. Have I slumped in my seat, yes but I am feeling stronger. Regardless of how you feel about someone that profess the Name of Almighty God I urge you to watch what you say about them. I God is for you no man and I repeat no man can overpower you.
One has to be careful how he opens his or her mouth because the wrath of God comes on the children of disobedience. When that happens do not waste time to spend money to see what’s wrong. You may run from pillar to post and nothing working in your favour. Remember “what goes around, comes around”. and you will one day face your own “Karma”.
It is equally a delightful thing to be kept of God; kept by him, kept near him, kept in him. They have kept indeed whom God keeps; they are preserved from evil, they are reserved unto boundless happiness. God’s keeping goes with his blessing to establish it and cause it to endure.
What I encourage you to do today is to walk in the fear of the Lord and make sure that you obey Him. I am blessed and happy. It may not look that way to you, but I know the God that I serve and in blessing His children I was among them that received. I am a blessed child. Hallelujah
