In, the Christian tradition it is said that before his in the Christian tradition it is said that before his crucifixion, Jesus appeared before Pontius Pilate and told Pilate that he had come to bear witness to the truth. Pilate then asked, “What is truth?” People in our world today are asking the same question. It is a question to which we Mystical Court members have an answer.

The Mystical Court teaches that truth is a primary attribute of God and that it is a fundamental principle that all good men strive to emulate.

Being true means being authentic and genuine void of pretence or exaggeration. Being true means being honest, accurate and transparent.

Mystical Court ritual says that to be good and true is the first lesson we are taught in Masonry. On this theme, we contemplate and by its dictates, we endeavour to regulate r our conduct. Hence, while influenced by this principle, hypocrisy and deceit are unknown among us and sincerity and plain dealing distinguish us.

I think a good way to describe The Mystical Court when a person asks about it is to say that we are a group where hypocrisy and deceit are unknown among us and sincerity and plain dealing distinguish us. May this always be so.
