A MOTHER’S DAY MESSAGE
From Her Eminence Queen Abbess

To the Mothers of The Mystical Order Ministries and the Spiritual Baptist Faith
“Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.” — Proverbs 31:28 (KJV)
Beloved Mothers, Sisters in the Faith, and Women of Grace —
Grace and peace be multiplied unto you in the Name of the Most High God, and through the anointed heritage of our Spiritual Baptist Faith. On this sacred occasion of Mother’s Day, I, Her Eminence Queen Abbess Dr. Patricia Hackshaw, rise in the spirit of love and honour to salute every mother who stands, who has stood, and who will stand in the divine calling of motherhood.
To be a mother is to participate in the very creative nature of Almighty God. It is to carry life within your womb, to nurture that life with your sleepless nights, your prayers, your tears, and your unbreakable love. The world may not always pause to acknowledge your sacrifice, but let it be said this day, loudly and clearly: we see you, we celebrate you, and we honour you with the full reverence that your calling deserves.
Mothers, you are the hidden pillars of the family. When the storms of life rage and the winds of adversity blow, it is most often a mother who stands firm — holding the household together through prayer, through wisdom, through faith, and through a love that refuses to surrender. You wipe away tears that no one else sees. You carry burdens that no one else feels. You fight battles in the secret place of prayer that only God records. And for all of this, heaven takes note of your labour.
“Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.” — Proverbs 31:10 (KJV)
I speak especially to the weary mothers. To those who wonder whether they are doing enough, whether their children will turn out right, and whether the sacrifices they make each day will bear fruit. Hear me clearly: the Word of God does not lie. “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it” (Proverbs 22:6). Your faithfulness in the home is sowing seeds of righteousness that will outlast your lifetime. Do not grow weary in well doing, for in due season you shall reap.
To the mothers of The Mystical Order Ministries — what a remarkable company of women you are! You serve not only in your homes but in the life of this sacred community. You bring your gifts to the altar of ministry. You teach your children the songs of Zion. You pass on the precious heritage of the Spiritual Baptist Faith — its reverence, its prayer, its praise — to the next generation with gracious and deliberate hands. You are the mothers of a movement, and your contribution to this Order is beyond measure.
To every mother in the wider Spiritual Baptist Faith, from the islands of the Caribbean to the diaspora communities spread across the nations of the earth: you carry within you a rich and beautiful tradition. The Faith our mothers and grandmothers preserved through hardship, through persecution, and through the long journey of history now rests in your hands. Guard it, live it, teach it. Let your children see the glory of God in the way you worship, the way you pray, and the way you love.

I salute also those who mother without the title — the aunties, the godmothers, the elder sisters in the faith who have taken younger ones under their wings and loved them as their own. Motherhood is not defined by biology alone; it is defined by love in action. The Kingdom of God is richer because of your willingness to open your heart and pour your life into another.
And to the mothers who grieve — those who have lost children, those whose arms long to hold little ones who are no longer near, those who ache with the invisible wounds of motherhood — God sees your sorrow, and He is near to the broken-hearted. Your love was never wasted. Your tears are kept in His bottle (Psalm 56:8). You are not forgotten, and this day, we remember you with deep tenderness and compassion.
As Her Eminence Queen Abbess of The Mystical Order Ministries, I pray over every mother reading these words today. I pray that God will renew your strength like the eagle. I pray that He will bless your children and establish your household. I pray that you will know, in the depths of your soul, that your work is not in vain. You are loved. You are honoured. You are seen.
A MOTHER’S DAY BLESSING
“The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.” — Numbers 6:24–26 (KJV)
May God Almighty bless you this Mother’s Day and every day. May your home be a sanctuary of His peace. May your children rise and call you blessed. May your labour in the Lord, in your family, and in this ministry be richly rewarded. And may the legacy you are building shine as a light for generations yet to come.
