Archbishop and Presiding Prelate Hon. Andres B. Quow
Beloved, devotion is the doorway through which revival enters the life of the believer and the life of the Church. Many pray for revival as if it were a distant event, but revival truly begins in the quiet surrender of one heart at a time. When a man or woman bows in humility, confesses sin, and returns wholeheartedly to God, a holy spark is lit. As more hearts respond in the same way, those sparks become a flame, and that flame becomes a burning testimony that God is moving in the midst of His people. This is the power of sincere devotion.
As the Archbishop, there is a vision for a Church where every altar—public and private—is alive with the fire of God. Such a Church cannot be content with mere formality. Songs without surrender, sermons without brokenness, and services without expectation will not satisfy the hunger of the Spirit. Devotion calls us beyond routine into a genuine encounter. It invites us to come before God with open hearts, willing to be changed, willing to be sent, and willing to let go of anything that hinders His work in and through us.

Devotion is also expressed in how we treat one another. The love of God cannot dwell richly in a heart that clings to resentment or pride. Therefore, a truly devoted life is marked by forgiveness, patience, and kindness. These virtues may seem simple, but they carry tremendous spiritual weight. When the Church walks in love, prayers gain power, worship gains depth, and the witness of the fellowship shines brightly to those on the outside who are searching for hope.
As you continue your journey, let your devotion move from words to action. Pray not only for God to change circumstances, but for Him to transform your own heart. Seek opportunities each day to reflect His character in your speech and deeds. May your devotion become a channel through which revival flows into your home, your assembly, and this entire Mystical Order, to the glory of God.
