Scripture: “He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.” (Proverbs 13:20)
The people around you shape your future more than you realize. Good friends pull you closer to success, while bad friends drag you into destruction. If you walk with those who honour God, love truth, and respect others, their example will make you wise. But if you spend most of your time with those who disobey, lie, or disrespect authority, you will soon find yourself doing the same.
Think carefully: who are your closest friends? Do they encourage you to study, pray, and behave well? Or do they pressure you to rebel and ignore wise advice? The choices you make about friendship today shape your tomorrow. Even Jesus chose His disciples carefully.
Children, do not fear standing alone for what is right. It is better to walk with a few wise friends than to run with many foolish ones. Pray today: “Lord, give me good friends who will help me grow closer to You. Keep me from being led astray.” Choose wisely, and your path will be filled with blessings.
