To our beloved Patriarch and Chief Apostle; and Bishop of Starlight of Israel Healing School Sir Darrindel Hoyte-Johnson, Patriarch McGillvary and the Queen Abbess of London, England; Matriarch-Elect Hon. Janet McClean, Crowned Queen Abbess Dr. Jacinta Albert-Patrick, Queen Abbess Dr. Patricia Hackshaw, Cardinal Sir Eric Alleyne, brothers, sisters, friends and well-wishers greetings.
When you build a solid team, you double or triple your effectiveness. When you inspire that team to pursue excellence, reaching for God’s best in every endeavor, the ripple effect will last for all eternity. Here’s what you as the leader can do to bring out the best in those around you.
Affirm them. People don’t want to be recruited; they want to be loved. Always place the person ahead of the task. That’s what Jesus did. Let people know they are valued, that they are needed, that their efforts will be appreciated. When you love and affirm the people around you, they will be drawn to your leadership. They’ll do their best because they know they matter to you. Each of you will get your chance, show some interest and and make that step to be involved. There is a place for each of you and you have to wait to be placed for the best gift to manifest itself. Your Leader is your watchman and evaluator. He sees your potentials and the ability to use you for the advancement of the Mystical Order and Starlight of Israel and more so the Kingdom of Almighty God.
Challenge them. Nobody wants to take on a task that seems boring—or worse, meaningless. Offer an inspiring challenge, and the results will be different. When you show people that something is worthwhile, it never will seem too difficult. When they see the importance of what they’re doing, they’ll rise to the challenge. Always connect the dots for them: Show them how what they are doing counts for eternity. This is the task of a real Leader. As he faces the challenges he engages you in that challenge. Simple if the Leader has overcome, it means you can also, overcome. So take the challenge as presented and move to the next level.
Direct them. Many members become discouraged because they’re left to do a job without guidance. When you enlist others in the mission, always give them direction. Outline the mission for them, the overall goal that is to be reached. Cast a vision for them by painting a word picture of what the result will look like. Define the objectives, clearly providing the critical milestones that must be met. Finally, let them know you are available for consultation or advice. As you are aware that I have always make myself available to you to address any concerns you may have concerning the walk in this ministry. You have to show some interest and be eager to learn. I teach and you learn to continue the mission for the next generation.
Reward them. Nothing motivates people quite like accolades. As a leader, it’s up to you to start the ovation. When people achieve, call attention to it. Let them know you’ve noticed; and let others know it, too. Write cards of encouragement and thanks. Send affirming email messages to your achievers. Be quick to offer a word of praise and a pat on the back. Reward results. You’ll get more of them. Do you agree with me then let us do it as a team. I have learn in the past to encourage others to be good men and women. Today I consult with our Patriarch to reward you as you walk this pathway. I sit back and look at you individually and see the pride of joy on your faces. To address you properly and feel the energy and see the sunshine. I am so reminded that your light must always shine so men see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
When you affirm and challenge others, you inspire them to be the best they can be. When you direct and support them, you ensure they will succeed. When you reward them, you guarantee their success will not be a one-time performance. Let’s give the Lord our best. He deserves it! To all my ministers and members and with great respect for the children of Starlight of Israel I am so proud of you and for the many kind words I receive form you daily. My love for you will always be to encourage you to walk in the vocation wherein you are called. Your reward is sure and with the help of Almighty God we will stick together and make our communities better places to live. I love you and God bless. You are mine and I am thine.
