HH, Sir Godfrey Gregg D.Div
We are just completing the last month of the Hebraic year. Let me remind you what this month means. The month of Adar or March/April is known as the “Pregnant Month.” There are things to conceive at this time. Your lost time can be redeemed.
Confrontations occur with constricting enemy forces so the plundering of the enemy’s camp can begin. Expect supernatural JOY to come because you will overturn the enemy’s plan. Break the old cycle by doing the opposite of the enemy’s ploy. In other words, when you feel the enemy trying to trap you and cause old angry spirits to surface give PRAISE to God!
Remember this: the Lord will wedge open the beginning of your next phase. This will cause the old seasons and cycles to end and new seasons to begin. Do not fear the narrow intersections; you will slide through into your new place. This I mean do not fear the persecutions, trials and ills that others will throw at you, it is for you to keep your balance and walk through the narrow winding to the place where God wants you for Him to open the windows of heaven and bless you.
This has not been the easiest month. In times of conception, the “dragon” seems to lurk to either stir up or stop God’s purposes for the future from coming forth. The enemy is like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. But he is also like a dragon who stirs up the fire of the accuser of the brethren to bring division in the midst of birthing.
But God! The Lord is preparing us to cross over into the first month of the year! He is putting the pieces together for our future. This is a time when we must allow God to show us the future so we can advance. You need to reach back and grab hold of those things that have been detrimental and defeating in your past. Then take your other hand and grab hold of God’s best for your future. Pull all the defeats of your past and place them under the “best” in your future!
In the days ahead, a certain number of Days! Something is going to happen but you have to be in position. A Word of Knowledge and a Call to God’s People to Speak Forth!
When the power of God came into the congregation of the believers the Holy Spirit will begin to admonish us to come into agreement with the angelic forces that had encamped around us (Psalm 34). The power of God is so strong. It can cause an explosion and to decree that the message God is forming in you would have a great impact in days ahead. You will not be able to stand under the power of the anointing. This is what God is saying to us as we prepare to cross over.
“I am moving My people under shrouds of death that have blocked My glory from being seen in earthly realms. I will form the words within their mouth. I have stored life and light down deep within their bone marrow. When they speak, the shroud of death over land, families, cities and nations will begin to disintegrate. This will unlock the Kingdom to advance. God is preparing the harvesting angels to co-labour with you as you break this shroud of death by speaking what He is saying from heaven.” For truly, brethren, the harvest is white and the labourers are very few. This time God is getting you ready to harvest the field. Look out the time is close and you have to be prepared with oil in your lamps and waiting for the marching orders. As we are now in a crisis mode with the pandemic of the Covid-19 that we take note and walk according to the vocation wherein we are called. Are we in a state of preparation my fellow readers, brothers and sisters?
I believe this word is for each one of us. The Lord will begin to show you how evil plots were working under these dark coverings. If we will allow Him to move you into place with His word burning within us, His fire will begin to expose and destroy the evil plans of the enemy. I believe the Lord is going to visit some places like St. Vincent and the Grenadines, the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago and Barbados this year 2020 and our other Caribbean Islands. Oh, how God is speaking and waiting for us to respond. Is it a little too late or are we on time?
I have a word of knowledge for you. The Lord is saying to you, “Eat My words for a number of days.” Behold, brethren these dates and times are very important. Your time to cross must be the perfect timing and to get on the other side must line up with the word.
I want to suggest that you begin by reading Psalm 34. If you are not doing the 21-Day Prayer and fasting (March 23 to April 12), begin reading now. The Lord is saying to us that if we will “taste and see that He is good” then our future will be revealed to us. The more we eat His Word, the more we will discern our future.
Passover: Crossing Over into Your Future
A crossing over time has three phases linked with the transition: Death, Confusion, and New. The Hebrew word abar means “to cross over” or “pass over.” This word illustrates a motion. It also refers to crossing a stream or barrier
- (“pass-through,” Numbers 21:22), invading a country
- (“passed over,” Judges 11:32), crossing a boundary against a hostile army
- (“go over,” 1 Samuel 14:4), marching over
- (“go over,” Isaiah 51:23), overflowing the banks of a river or other natural barriers
- (“pass-through,” Isaiah 23:10), passing a razor over one’s head
- (“come upon,” Numbers 6:5), and the passing of time
- (“went over,” 1 Chronicles 29:30).
As a verb, the word is used in relationships to transgression or sin, such as transgressing a covenant or commandment. One “passes beyond” the limits set by God’s law and falls into transgression and guilt. This meaning appears in Numbers 14:41: “And Moses said, wherefore now do ye transgress the commandment of the Lord? but it shall not prosper.” We want to die to anything in the past season that would hinder us in the season ahead. We want to be sure the power of any besetting sin is broken. Don’t be afraid to go to the Cross. Resurrection and new life are on the other side.
Passover is a key time for the Church to understand for us to enter into our full redemptive purpose. The Church had continued to celebrate this Feast for over 300 years after the Lord’s crucifixion, but then Constantine forbids its celebration in the 4th century. The world and the enemy hate the blood. This was also where we shifted to the original path to stop us from staying in God’s perfect timing. Hell hates for us to have an understanding of this Feast because the celebration of this time unlocks our redemptive purposes for the future. Exodus 23 says if we will participate in these Feasts then the Lord will assign angels to guide us into our promise.
Angels are being dispatched to help you enter into what the Lord has for you. We must remember that in preparing for their redemption, the children of Israel’s situation got worse before it was better. The next three months are key to our advancing forward at an accelerated rate.
God had heard the cry of the Israelites due to the hard labour they were under and remembered and acknowledged His covenant with them. He found a Deliverer, Moses, who would inform Israel that God had come to fulfil His promise to take them to their promised land, Canaan.
Moses, the Deliverer, also had marching orders from God to go to Pharaoh and command him to allow Israel to journey into the desert and worship Him. Israel responded to these changes with great enthusiasm (Exodus 4:29-31: “And Moses and Aaron went and gathered together all the elders of the children of Israel: 30 And Aaron spake all the words which the Lord had spoken unto Moses, and did the signs in the sight of the people. 31 And the people believed: and when they heard that the Lord had visited the children of Israel and that he had looked upon their affliction, then they bowed their heads and worshipped.“) and joy, but this initial enthusiasm quickly turned into bitter disappointment when Moses’ first encounter with Pharaoh resulted in a ‘double workload’ (Exodus 5:18-21, Go therefore now, and work; for there shall no straw be given you, yet shall ye deliver the tale of bricks.19 And the officers of the children of Israel did see that they were in evil case, after it was said, Ye shall not minish ought from your bricks of your daily task.20 And they met Moses and Aaron, who stood in the way, as they came forth from Pharaoh:21 And they said unto them, The Lord look upon you, and judge; because ye have made our savour to be abhorred in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of his servants, to put a sword in their hand to slay us.) rather than redemption. Sometimes things get worse before the breakthrough comes.
Exodus 6:1-9 says: “Then the Lord said unto Moses, Now shalt thou see what I will do to Pharaoh: for with a strong hand shall he let them go, and with a strong hand shall he drive them out of his land. 2 And God spake unto Moses, and said unto him, I am the Lord: 3 And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name Jehovah was I not known to them. 4 And I have also established my covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their pilgrimage, wherein they were strangers. 5 And I have also heard the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage; and I have remembered my covenant. 6 Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I am the Lord, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments: 7 And I will take you to me for a people, and I will be to you a God: and ye shall know that I am the Lord your God, which bringeth you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians. 8 And I will bring you in unto the land, concerning the which I did swear to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and I will give it you for an heritage: I am the Lord. 9 And Moses spake so unto the children of Israel: but they hearkened not unto Moses for anguish of spirit, and for cruel bondage.”
The people immediately accused Moses of only aggravating their condition. This month be careful not to place unnecessary blame on those who are trying to help you break free. “And they did not listen to Moses, due to their crushed spirits and hard work.” (Exodus 6:9) It was just as difficult for Moses to convince the Israelites of God’s word as it was to convince Pharaoh. He was assigned to not only inform the people but also to educate them on what it meant to come out and cross over and be redeemed. Therefore, they had to prepare themselves for their redemption. That is what Passover is about. As we are preparing for this great time of fellowship known as the Passover, the enemy has struck a blow known as the Coronavirus or Covid-19 to the entire world. Let not your heart be troubled and give attention to the Word of God.
The ruling enemies over your life must recognize that God is on your side. However, you must commune with the Lord and worship Him in a new way. Just as the people of Israel had to prepare a Passover lamb, we must be willing to allow the Cross of our risen Saviour to penetrate any area of our life that could keep us in bondage. I am asking the Lord to heal “crushed spirits” this month so that each individual in the Body can move forward into a divine release of blessings. I am further asking the Lord to intervene on our behalf, we are not prepared for this pandemic and I am asking for a stay in your judgement on us. Help us to apply the blood on our doorpost and our household and when the death angel sees the blood he will pass over us. Hallelujah
Exodus 20:5-8 says: “Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.7 Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. (withdrawn from common employment and dedicated to God).”
God had called Israel to repent prior to the Exodus, to cleanse themselves from the idolatry of their Egyptian culture in preparation for their redemption. God is calling us today to repent and give up our cultures and prepare for the promise as we cross over. Joshua did the same thing before “crossing the people over the Jordan” (Joshua 3). We must accept that the Lord has a time of preparation that He takes us through before releasing us into the next dimension of our promise. Celebrating Passover always points us toward our final redemption.
- This is a season where the Lord wants our end to be greater than our beginning.
- This is a season where The Lord wants us to be the head and not the tail.
- This is a season where the Lord wants us to be the lender and not the borrower.
- This is the season when you will be in health and not sickness.
- This is the season where you will be happy and rejoicing and not be sad.
- This is the season of life over death.
This Passover is so very important. This is the Lord’s doing where you have to follow the Lord’s leadership, His priest chosen to lead into this New Year. You cannot walk in yourself and think you have been a leader.
