A Message from His Holiness, Patriarch Sir Godfrey Gregg
To the Beloved Mystical Order and All People of Faith,
Grace, mercy, and peace be to you from God our Father.
With hearts filled with divine expectation, we are called once again to a sacred season of collective devotion. From March 16th through April 5th, 2026, we shall enter together into a solemn and joyful period of Prayer and Fasting.
This year, we anchor our souls in a powerful and reassuring promise from Almighty God:
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
— Jeremiah 29:11
Our theme, “The Future is in Your Hands,” is not a statement of human ability alone, but a profound declaration of divine trust. It speaks of a Sovereign God who holds eternity, yet lovingly places our destiny—our hopes, our purpose, our legacy—into His own omnipotent hands. Our fast is the act by which we release our feeble grip on tomorrow, and by faith, place it securely back into the hands of the One who shaped it.
Therefore, let us approach this season not with a spirit of lack, but with one of profound seeking. Let us fast from distractions to feast on His presence. Let us pray with the certainty that the God who knows the plans is also the God who hears our petitions and orders our steps.
As we deny the physical, may our spirits be heightened. As we seek His face, may our vision for the future He has prepared come into clear focus. Let this be a time of reset, renewal, and rededication—for our lives, our families, our communities, and our mission in the world.
I urge every member, every branch, every soul connected to this global spiritual family to join in this holy convergence. Let us unite our faith across nations and time zones, believing that as we humble ourselves, He will lift us up and reveal the pathway of our promised future.
Prepare your hearts, set your intentions, and gather your petitions. The best is yet to come, for our future is held in the hands that carved the cosmos.
