GOD LOVES US ALL

THE CARDINAL SPEAKS

His Eminence Sir Eric Alleyne
How sweet the name of Jesus sounds,
In a believers ear
It soothes his sorrows, heals his wounds;
And drives away his fears.

It makes the wounded spirit whole,
And calms the troubled breast;
Tis manna to the hungry soul,
And to the weary rest.

A pleasant and wonderful morning to That, which was, which is, and which will ever be. To our Patriarch, my Archbishop, Queen Abbess, all ministers, our affiliated churches around the globe, members, friends and well wishers of The Mystical Order of Spiritual Baptist Inc 2012, I greet you in Jesus Almighty name. Thanking Almighty God for spared life and tender mercies, Master we honour, glorify and worship Your blessed name this morning, we pray for Your blessings in Jesus Almighty name. Amen!

For God so love this world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Brothers and sisters, this is an unconditional love what Almighty God have shown us, although we sin on a daily basis, God loves us all but He dislikes the wrong things we do. He loves the sinner but hates the sin. However, not because God loves and forgives us, should we continue to blaspheme and procrastinate and think we will always be forgiven, no. In Romans 6, we are compelled not to continue in sin, some of us place ourselves in comfort zones (Matthew 7), thinking that all will be well on judgment day, but believers there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth on that great day, for every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess to God. (Romans 14 verse 11). Amen!

One of our greatest needs as human beings is to be loved, we all need love. We need to know that we’re important to somebody, that somebody truly cares about us, wants us, and accepts us unconditionally. Notwithstanding, we go around hurting our brothers and sisters both directly and indirectly, yet still claiming we love God. How could we love God, whom we can’t see, but demoralized our fellow human beings. Love involves action, it is expressed in the giving of oneself for the good of another. One of the most amazing things about God’s love, is that it is extended towards us when we do not deserve it and it continues steadfast and strong even when we do not respond to it. God does not love us because we are lovable or because we can somehow make ourselves worthy of His love. We are totally unworthy, yet He prizes us highly and showers His very best on us. There is nothing we can do to make Him love us any more, and nothing we ever do will cause Him to love us any less. Love is God and God is love. Hallelujah!

In closing brethren, let brotherly love continue (Hebrews 13 verse 1), brother Paul speaking to the people of Rome in chapter 12 verse 9 said, “let love be without dissimulation”, abhor that which is evil (Galatians 5 verses 19 to 21), cleave to that which is good — God’s love. Saints of God, let us contemplate on the fifth verse of Deuteronomy chapter 6, which states “and thou shall love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. Amen! Heavenly Father, we thank You for this blessing of love that You are imparting upon us, please enrich Your children throughout this world of Your unconditional love towards mankind, insomuch that hatred, malice and such like, would vanish from our hearts and thoughts. King of Kings, please continue to strengthen our elders in The Mystical Order, give them the endurance as they tarry one day at a time sweet Jesus, that’s all we’re asking of You. Master we pray that one day we grasp the understanding of what Paul was telling the people of Corinth, eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the hearts of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love HIM. Amen! Amen! Amen!
God loves you so do I.
