CARDINAL ROBERTS
HIS EMINENCE SIR LEWIS ROBERTS LOM, OHPA
COMMANDING OFFICER OF THE MYSTICAL COURT
Lewis Roberts was born in the village of Penal to Norma and Adolphus Roberts and grew up in Laventille. He was baptized at age 21 by bishop Odain in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. He had several “thrones of grace” with Mother Warrior Bishop Hunte and Bishop Raymond. He migrated to the United States where he was a member of mount Ararat church under the leadership of Mother Stella Parris. after a few years he was invited to the Shrine of St Francis church under the leadership of Mother Cynthia Abbott where he took two thrones with her and was Consecrated a Bishop.
After the closure of the church Bishop Roberts continued to look for a home and in 2012 he found a place with The Mystical Order of Spiritual Baptist Inc. under the Leadership His Beatitude Patriarch and Presiding Prelate Sir Dr. Darrindel Hoyte-Johnson. Bishop Roberts was received in fellowship with the right hand of fellowship and has served in that office until he was appointed the Chief Bishop and Armour Bearer to the Patriarch. He is registered with the State of New York and is a Marriage Officer.
He received the Church title of ORDAINED HIGH PRIEST OF AARON and is a Commanding Officer of the Mystical Court. He also sits on the Executive Council of the Church. Roberts received the ORDER OF SAINT MICHAEL in 2013 and was elevated to the rank of Cardinal on October 7, 2014. He is now addressed as His Eminence.
