The Beauty of a Heart Surrendered to God
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18
My Beloved,
Brokenness is not the end—it is the beginning. It is the place where God meets us in our deepest need, where He mends our wounds, and where He transforms our pain into purpose. I have walked through seasons of brokenness, and I have learned that it is not a sign of weakness but of surrender. It is the humility to acknowledge our need for God, to release our pride, and to allow Him to mould us into His image.
In The Mystical Order, we do not hide our brokenness. We bring it to the altar, where God’s grace can heal and restore. Brokenness is not about shame; it is about surrender. It is the courage to come to God as we are, to lay down our masks, and to receive His mercy.

But let me share a truth I have learned: Brokenness is the soil in which God plants the seeds of revival. It is the place where He breaks the hard ground of our hearts, so that His love can take root and grow. It is the beginning of transformation, the doorway to healing, and the path to true freedom.
Ask yourself: Am I willing to embrace brokenness, or am I resisting God’s work in my life? True brokenness is not the end; it is the beginning of God’s greatest work in us.
With a Heart of Surrender,
Queen Abbess Patricia
