Give ear to my words O Lord, consider my meditations, hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God; for unto Thee will I pray. Amen! Giving honour to Almighty God, for spared life and tender mercies, for seeing us through another day whereby we can cry Abba Father. To our Patriarch and Bishop of Starlight of Israel Healing School, my Archbishop, Crowned Queen Abbess, all ministers, members, friends, brothers and sisters in the Lord, I greet you in the wonderful name of Jesus. Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus and to take Him at His word, just to rest upon His promise, and to know “thus said the Lord”. I pray that my family in Christ had a blessed weekend and though we face many ups and downs on a daily basis, we let go and let God; because I was taught and have come to the understanding that a Higher Force is in control. Beloved I can give a personal testimony, for many years ago I sat in front of a tribunal back home in T&T on my job, and I can feel and sense the odds were against me as I sat in my seat. All I can do is to say within myself; Lord God, I have sinned and fall short but have mercy upon me. Beloved that door closed, I took it as a learning experience and seek other avenues which were opened unto me. Saints of God, all I’m trying to say is that we must trust in God for good times and bad times.

So much turmoil is going on around the world nowadays, it’s local (here in USA), international and even in our beautiful Caribbean Islands, sometimes we question why, my opinion is these incidents were predicted many many years ago, and mankind in some form or fashion have escalated these events, {we are killing our brothers and sisters for silly reasons; political, religious and race} scripture is being fulfilled. However God is in charge, and we, who are under the order of Melchizedek should keep our lamps oiled and trimmed for when the Bridegroom comes, also bearing in mind the dangers of our surroundings as we toil daily for physical existence. Nothing is guaranteed to us, where there is life there is death; so we must trust The Great Jehovah for every breath we take. There was a horrific van accident in the Windward Side of St Vincent on the morning of Monday 12th January 2015, there were fatalities and missing bodies for the van went into the sea. Let us pray that the Lord sustain these bereaved families. (O kay, I know there are accidents all over the world every minute of every day, but this is my adopted home so my heart goes out my people). Let us trust God for everything, these accident victims left home to go to work and school not knowing what destiny had waiting ahead. Lord have mercy!

Psalm 118 verses 8 & 9 taught us, it is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man, it is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in princes, brother David said, in thee O Lord, do I put my trust, let me never be put to confusion, believers once we trust in the Lord, a thousand shall fall at thy side and ten thousand at thy right hand, but it shall not come nigh thee. Here is a comforting verse for all who are sick and sad:

Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him!

How I’ve proved Him o’er and o’er!

Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus!

O for grace to trust Him more!

As I close this portion, let us trust in the Lord with all our hearts and lean not unto our own understanding. Heavenly Father we thank You for the word this morning, we thank You for sending Your Son — whom we believe and trust for everything. Lord God, please bless our elders of The Mystical Order, give them the faith to persevere in Your name. Remember the grieving families in St Vincent, Trinidad, France, Africa and around the globe. Do it again Lord, do it again, send a Reviver, revive us again, many are dying and many in pain, do it again Lord, do it again. Master we trust You and we leave everything in Your hands, all these and more blessings we ask for in Jesus Almighty name.

Until we meet again, trust and obey, there is no other way; to be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.
