PRAY CONFIDENTLY
Solomon knew that God’s blessing was upon him because of his father David,s relationship with God. Because of David, God accepted and blessed Solomon as well.
If you are a Christian, God accepts you and blesses you because of Jesus. God knew you could never be perfect, so Jesus lived the perfect life on your behalf. And you now have access to come before God’s throne and make your petitions because the favour God bestowed upon Jesus has been transferred to your account. Obviously, this doesn’t give you license to live a sinful life; on the contrary, it should humble you and make you grateful for all He has done.
Are you freely and confidently going to the Father, with all your needs, struggles, and decisions?
19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,
20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;
21 And having an high priest over the house of God;
22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Hebrews 10:19-22
