Patriarch at Elevation

Darrindel Hoyte-Johnson was born in the twin Island of Trinidad and Tobago to his parents Leila Johnson and Joseph Worrell-Hoyte. He grew up in the Anglican Church and at a tender age he heeded the call to become a member of the Spiritual Baptist Faith. He was baptized by immersion under the watchful eyes of Spiritual Mother Abbess Ivy Hunte of the St. George’s Chapel along with Bishop Sandy. He took several “thrones of grace” with lord of lords Bishop of Trinidad and Tobago Francis Moses of Saint Michael Spiritual Baptist Church; and at Saint Philemon Court under the watchful eyes of The Grand Mistress Pearl Roach and Leader Jonas Celestine.  Patriarch In 1997 he was ordained by Archbishop of Trinidad and Tobago His Grace Raymond Douglas as a Reverend Minister. In 2006 he was consecrated Bishop by John Terry of the Pentecostal Movement and in 2007 at Staten Island he was also Consecrated Bishop among twenty-five others by Bishop Serrano. In 2011 he was appointed Archbishop of the Mystical Order of Spiritual Baptist Inc.; of which he is a co-founder. He held that position until October in 2012 when he was elevated to the High Office of PATRIARCH.

Between 1995 and 2011 He was the Founder and Leader of the church STAR LIGHT OF ISRAEL in Rochester, NY. During those years he has baptized many and has received into fellowship many more. His biggest baptism ever was in 1995 at Coney Island beach. Star Light of Israel was merged with The Mystical Order of Spiritual Baptist Inc.; in 2011.
The Patriarch is currently the Grand Commanding Officer of the Mystical Court, the decision making body of The Mystical Order. He has received the Mystical Degree of ORDAINED HIGH PRIEST OF THE ORDER OF MELCHIZEDEK (OHPM). He is a Licensed Marriage Officiant with the Great State of New York (LOM). He has received the religious title of Grand Commander of Saint Michael and Saint George (GCMG) issues by the Mystical Court and is only reserved for members of the said Court. He also received the title Order of Saint John (OSJ).
The Patriarch also fellowship with and held communion with former Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago Dr. Eric Williams. He continues his affiliation with Archbishop Senator Barbara Burke, Archbishop Monica Rondo and Archbishop Dorothy Hercules; He is working to forge a better relationship among the different Baptist church and hopefully UNIFYING all the churches. He continues to motivate members outside his perimeters and encouraging them to come back to their first love. There are many individuals members and ministers that have since came to fellowship with the Mystical Order in England, Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
He is married and has two sons and a daughter. Currently resides in Rochester, NY.
