God is faithful
So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ: 8 Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord. 1 Corinthians 1:7-9
Even when we are unfaithful, God is faithful. Despite our sins, he is still faithful. Gratitude for God is a powerful motivator. God doesn’t want us to be motivated by dutifulness or guilt or just doing the right thing, but by gratitude for his incredible kindness and patience.
Spend time praying about how God has taken care of you in your life. What prayers has he answered? Who has he sent into your life to help you when you needed it most? How does God’s faithfulness to you personally make you feel?
