Notorious biblical strongman Samson was betrayed by Delilah, his wife, which ultimately brings about his downfall. Samson used all his remaining strength to defeat the Philistines and their ruler, but he died in the process.

Samuel is a Hebrew name that means God heard.

For more than 100 years, the name Samuel has been in the top 100 most popular boys’ names in the U.S. The name is hotter than ever, sitting at number 22 in 2019.

83. Saul

The Hebrew name Saul means asked or inquired of God.

85. Silas

Silas stems from the Latin name Silvanus, and it means forest or wood.
