Please join me in the annual prayer and fast in the coming days. During this time we are seeking God for various things in our lives. We are also asking for renewed strength and the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives, community, church and home.
The Journey Church of The Mystical Order will be joining churches throughout the United States and the Caribbean for 21 days fast from March 21 through April 12, 2020. The Biblical definition of ‘fasting’ is giving up food to focus on God. You will replace a meal with prayer and/or reading the Bible. The purpose is to clear your heart so you can see and hear what God has planned for your life. Fasting reminds us of our dependence on God. If you cannot fast food, you can give up social media, TV or any distractions that keep you from reading the Word or spending time with the Lord.
