“ Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. 7 Render therefore to all their dues: tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.”Romans 13:1, 7
Lord, we live in a nation that is free to elect those chosen for public office. We confess that the servants who are chosen are there with your approval. Let us faithfully support those elected to office, giving honour to their position. Let us help them fulfil the obligation and responsibility of our nation. With prayer and understanding, let us unite ourselves to the one purpose of living a life in which “In God We Trust.”
