HH, Sir Godfrey Gregg D.Div

I believe  when you fear God, you will avoid the following to stay pure:

Forgiveness – The hardest thing for every human being whether being Christian or not is the act of forgiving especially when those who offended us are very dear to our hearts. When we emulate Jesus to be perfect and stay pure, one of the things we must learn is the act of love and mercy towards one another.

Let me refresh your memory, my message regards God is still writing your story; I said that it is important to still keep your enemies closer because it is part of your learning process (Matthew 5:44 – “But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you”). I meant what I said; remember what Jesus said on the cross concerning those who offended him, Luke 23:34a – “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing”.

That alone showed us that love should be unconditional and must also be in line with Matthew 18:21-22 (“Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Till seven times?  Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, until seventy times seven”.

When we don’t forgive, our hearts receive bitterness; anger and malice by making us lose God’s unlimited favour. Remember Colossians 3:13 – “Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you”. Also, in Mark 11:25 – “And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses”.
