The Mystical Order Ministries are taught to find joy and life-affirming meaning in loving one another and being loved by others. When we gather together in a church setting we find that we are surrounded by others that share the same value and will offer us their love while accepting ours. Together, members of the Mystical Order Ministries pray “Let brotherly love prevail and every moral and social virtue cement us,” This community and brotherhood give us strength to do our work of building a better world through the way we live our lives in a world that may not share that value of brotherly love that we profess.

The work of The Mystical Order Ministries is not only to give and accept love with our members but also to share the love with the whole world. Remember this principle in our service which says, “Remember that every person has a claim upon your good offices.”

St. Francis of Assis understood the truth when he wrote the famous prayer in which he said: “Lord make me an instrument of your peace. Where there is hatred, let me bring love. Where there is offence, let me bring pardon. Where there is discord, let me bring union. Where there is error, let me bring truth. Where there is doubt, let me bring faith. Where there is despair, let me bring hope. Where there is darkness, let me bring your light. Where there is sadness, let me bring joy. O Master, let me not seek as much to be consoled as to console, to be understood as to understand, to be loved as to love, for it is in giving that we receive, it is in self-forgetting that one finds, it is in pardoning that one is pardoned, it is in dying that one is raised to eternal life.”

As members of this noble organization, we have been raised to be and to acknowledge, let us live lives where brotherly love prevails.
