Beloved, as we find it to be with David, so it is to be with each one of us.  The PAST Is FORGIVEN; the PRESENT is BRIGHT because of [YAHVEH’s] GOD [THE HEAVENLY FATHER and Son] PRESENCE Within it, and the FUTURE is BRIGHTER still, because of The HOPE of ETERNAL LIFE that Is The Seed of THE HOLY SPIRIT Living Within us (I Peter 1:3; Hebrews 3:6).

Philippians 3:13  “Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do: forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forth unto those things which are before,”

14  “ I press toward The Mark for The Prize of The High CALLING of GOD In Christ Jesus.”

We close, today, with the words of the Apostle, named Paul, as he stresses his recognition of the fact that he HAS NOT totally achieved a condition, or state, of perfection [“I count not myself to have apprehended…”] from his old life.  However, he realizes that there Exists A STANDARD of PERFECTION to Which he must aspire [“…and reaching forth…”].   He knows that this CANNOT be achieved by looking BACKWARD at the PAST [“…forgetting those things which are behind…”], but that he must look toward the FUTURE [“…those things which are before…”].  What is the point to this entire Lesson, today?  The FOCUS should be this: Direct your Spiritual Eyes upon The PRIZE of The KINGDOM of HEAVEN that is BEFORE/AHEAD of you.

The PRIZE Lies AHEAD of us, Beloved brethren, and NOT BEHIND us.  While it is so very true that EVERY ONE of us HAS A PAST who has become a SAINT/CHILD of GOD, it is equally as true that just as it was in the case of each of us, so it still remains that EVERY SINNER HAS A FUTURE, as well, and can share in that FUTURE with those of us who have chosen to come to [YAHVEH] GOD Through FAITH in HIS Righteous Son, The Glorified Yeshua Ha Meshiach [Jesus The Messiah/Christ].   A person DOES NOT have to remain dogged by the remembrances of a PAST that [YAHVEH] GOD Has Long Ago FORGIVEN when it was sincerely asked of HIM.   Remember this, and embrace it.

CONCLUSION:

Beloved Saints of GOD, this writer has endeavoured to present some Truths in this study that will resonate deeply within our hearts/minds regarding the lives that we live.  NONE of us is without a PAST, which no one of us would EVER want to be known by others, as we have ALL been stained by the crimson of sin.  In our PASTS we have travelled pathways that were very much divergent from that Way In Which our GOD Would Have us to walk: we were SINNERS.

Now, The GRACE of A LOVING GOD Has Been Bestowed Upon us In ABUNDANCE, Providing us with a FUTURE far beyond that of our wildest imaginations.  We no longer stumble about in the darkness of unrighteousness and sin but walk in The LIGHT of GOD’s PRESENCE.  Yes, while it is TRUE that we all have had our PASTS, let us endeavour to tell EVERY SINNER whom we might encounter that he/she can have a far Brighter FUTURE.

May [YAHVEH] GOD Grant us the abilities, and opportunities, to share the reality of HIS Great FUTURE with others.  Amen.
